ONLY complaint is the install instructions. These Chinese companies really need to invest in an English speaking interpreter to write their manuals for them. It looks fanastic. Fits perfectly. The function leaves a little to be desired. It has a little safety pin that you have to pull to keep it open or when closing it. Not very sturdy and I bent it the first time I went to close the lid because I forgot I had to pull the pin. Even still, it is well worth the money and I would recommend getting it.

I didn't realize it was open in the back. Hoped to keep the mice off. It does NOT fit well. Left side will not close. Rests on top. Right side is fineI will keep it on. Its not worth the hassle to send it back

We recently got our griddle not realizing the lid was a separate piece you had to take off and hang on the back. If you were trying to get it super hot to sear something you needed fire resistant gloves to take it off and it was awkward. This lid was easy to install (per the hubs) and looks really nice. I can still use the orange silicone cover to protect the surface and close the lid.There is a little pin on the side that prevents it from staying open - you have to pull the pin, raise the lid fully then let go and it stays open. Took me a minute to figure it out. It’s so nice to be able to see the temps and to retain heat while cooking. We have the metal covered pans but this is even better. If you wish you had gotten the more expensive model with a hinged lid, this is your answer!

The glass window was the only reason I bought this- we have been in a heat wave so no rain for a few weeks and first time it rains hard my entire blackstone is filled with water. Too late for a refund or return. Avoiding rust is the most important thing with a blackstone- this lid was a mistake… stay away.
