Exact replacement for my Verizon Jet Pack #8800L. Came with instructions on how to properly charge the battery. Whichis Great !! Because it takes 3 to 5 periods of charging and discharging>so that you will get the maximum life from thebattery. Cost was Great. Will buy again in the future !!!

I do everything to my 8800L that I'm not supposed to, like keeping it charging 24/7, exposure to direct sunlight, etc. I have my reasons for this, especially when using it in my old campervan, which is about half of the time, however it comes with a cost. That cost is battery bulge. Not a problem since the battery is easily replaced inexpensively.I'm now on my third battery and the unit functions perfectly. Someday I'm sure I'll upgrade to a newer MiFi unit, or something else, but for now and the foreseeable future, this little unit still makes the most sense financially for me personally, and keeping it going with a fresh battery every so often is a very small price to pay.
