es funktioniert großteils, dass die Brösel beim Schneiden am Brett bzw. darin bleiben und man hat zumindest weniger am Tisch, was der Grund der Anschaffung war. Man sollte sich aber im Klaren darüber sein, dass, wenn das Brot sehr knackig ist, die Brösel recht weit springen können, weswegen man auch weiterhin nicht davon am Tisch befreit ist, wofür das Brett ja aber eigentlich nichts kann, weshalb es auch keine Punkteabzüge gibt.

My husband has taken to using the bread machine frequently, with the result that we had crumbs everywhere from his slicing. I took a gamble on this and we are quite pleased with it. It's not that big but it fits his homemade loaves fine and then it doesn't take up much counter space. It doesn't catch all the crumbs but most of them do fall down into the tray so it's made a huge improvement. Easy to lift the rack out and tip the tray to empty. Feels fairly sturdy. It does slide around on the counter though, so we have put some non-slip cupboard liner under it.

I bought this as a gift to my daughter as it was approved by the whole family. It is stylish, practical very useful as it eliminates all bread crumbs falling on the floor or table. Bamboo made also has the durability advantage.
