All my accessories in the kitchen are red and this fits in the decor very nicely. Love the straining screen and the little spoon that comes with it… We were putting bacon grease in an old coffee mug that had a plastic lid on it…. I really likes these types this bacon tin…. I remember my Mother and Grandmother always had a Folgers coffee can (back when they were made of metal) sitting on the countertop by the stove…. It was utilized frequently for seasoning many dishes…. Especially fried potatoes…. The good ole days…. This tin was a little smaller than I expected but it’s perfect for my needs.

This bacon grease collector and container functions as described.It includes a small spoon to help collect the grease and/or remove the grease from the container.It has a nice fitting, metal mesh partition that fits nicely at the top of the container to help strain out any crunchy bits that are hanging out in your grease.The lid fits nicely on the top of the container, but will knock loose if the container is knocked over/into.No more mystery jar sitting in the back of the fridge; now I have an attractive, red container that clearly states "Bacon" for those curious.

I just received this grease saver and I must say, it is adorable! It's the size of a regular coffee mug, so it's not that big but, it is perfect for me. I love it! It's got the removable strainer, the mug, a dainty spoon and a lid. It feels quality made and durable. I am satisfied with my purchase!

I've been pouring my leftover bacon grease into little jars and not filtering it for far too long... Well, no longer.Now that I'm equipped with this fine little bacon fat decanter, and the included stainless filter works wonderfully, its only crystal clear drippings for this trooper!I don't actually use bacon grease too often, so just keep this in my fridge. The bright red color catches my eye almost every time i go in there, so I am more likely to remember I have some, instead of a nondescript little container that always seems to find its way to the back of a shelf and be forgotten.Either way, this seems to be of perfectly adequate construction, has a small yet forgivable flaw on the inside of the handle (a little dot of white paint), holds plenty o grease for future greasing, and suits my needs perfectly.

I like this but it could be better. The main thing I wish was different was the lid, it doesn’t screw on or anything so it isn’t air tight & doesn’t seal the container closed. It just sits on top. The bottom part is basically a mug & there is a piece you set on top so the grease can strain. I like that it’s not rubber like other ones but I think having a better lid that actually seals closed would make this way better. But it’s durable and works.

Bacon cup is an enameled cup. Quality of materials is similar to metal enameled cups you find in outdoor sporting stores. For bacon, it’s great. Strainer does really well to remove small particles of meat. Spoon is kind of flimsy but works.

This is something I never knew I needed!! This is a great gift for mom or grandma that loves to save bacon grease! Comes with a strainer a spoon. The cutest!! Metal cup, allows for hot grease! Great purchase, would buy again for family gifts!!

This bacon grease saver is super cute, the color is so bright and vivid. It works well with the strainer and it was a nice touch adding the little spoon to spread the grease to make sure that the grease separates from the chunks of bacon. It is made well and from quality materials.
