I read the reviews and emailed the company prior to purchasing for sizing. I ordered the same size skirt and shirt. The skirt was slightly bigger than expected and the shirt was smaller but does fit nicely. My daughter, who I bought this for, wears a 4T. The company advised that I buy her an XS. It came in 2 days earlier than the email said it would so that was great! A super plus considering it’s not a Prime item. The material is thin and flexible flr movements. The skirt is just that. It’s a skirt, not a skort. You will need bloomers. This was for personal use. She really wanted a cheerleading uniform to wear to local games and for Halloweeen so this works for that. I wouldn’t necessarily buy this as an actual uniform on a youth league. It’s fine for what I wanted it for. The price is comparable to others. You can buy a nicer one from the cheer sites but you have to order 6 or more uniforms so it doesn’t work unless you have a larger order, which we did not. This is fine for individual use. The sizing is a bit off but she can still wear it nicely so I’m satisfied.

I obviously missed the fact that this was NOT a skort and purchased it by mistake. It is a cute skirt and we'll have to buy playground shorts to go underneath it....bummer!
