These amps are a budget gem!! I ran the 1500.1 at half ohm accidentally for 3 years. Before it finally gave up from The main power line melting its solder on the board. Although it failed, I am immensely impressed that it sounded and performed as well as it did for as long as it did with my negligence of subwoofer installation!

Bought this product in 2017 and I'm writing this now in 2024. Very powerful, excellent sound quality and extremely reliable.

Bought it for my new hobby car. Have it a mini truck pushing some mid 2000’s Fosgate 12’s. It’s a little more power than I need, subs are 750 rms each. With the subs wired to 1 ohm, the amp could make 300+ more watts than are needed. Still it sounds really good for a class D amp. Have the extra unneeded power means I can run right up to the edge of the subs power handling with less distortion. Overall for the price I paid, I’m very satisfied with this amp. Being into car audio since the late 80’s while this isn’t from one of the “top” brands out there, it’s still built well and delivers the power it claims to make. Much better than some of the others out there that rate their products at 2 to 4 times the watts it will actually deliver. Boss and others like it a rate about 2 times what it will actually make. Hifonics now seems to rate theirs at twice the wattage it actually makes. The Audio Pipe 1800 watt amp is rated 1800 watts at 1ohm and it makes that 1800 plus some. It’s closer to 2000 watts at 1 ohm. Really this is a great amp.

The wires on the bass knob are disconnected.. and I have to request a new one. Tell the review how it gets dealt with. And I cant get a replacement knob if I dont send the hole amp back and I payed to have it installed in my vehicle. So now I got to pay to take the amp out then send it and have it installed again not impressed and was playing one buying 3 more.. sad..

This amplifier is absolutely worth every penny!!! I’ve tried two different manufacturers until I finally matched my DVC 10” 4 ohm pair of audio pipe subs to this beast of an am!! The speakers act like they’re going go to jump out of the box!!! You can tune the bass to react with the bass boost at different frequencies as well. I’ve got a ram and bought the prebuilt Q bomb dual 10” under seat set up is amazing. VERY HAPPY!!!!

I can say so far it's working great, it really pushes my American Bass XR15'S really good, there still a bit underpowered but not much that's not the amps fault it's doing what it says it does. I plan on getting a 2nd one gain match and run one on each sub, I can't strap them where my subs are running a 1 ohm unless I want them at 4 ohms...nope. Even tho it does push them hard on top end I noticed how much more lively they seem at low volumes over the pioneer GM9701 that I was using even tho that's a great amp at the $135 I spent but now there $280! Nope NOT worth that at all it nowhere the amp this is. I was looking at the APLME 2000 but there was to many heat problems in reviews besides this amp is a step up over the 2K and the 1800 makes 2000w anyway... and this does not seem to run crazy hot, yes when you stretch it's legs for awhile it heats up but not alarmingly hot and no hotter than my Soundstream 4x50w. Also it's running off the stock grand caravan electrical system with a 140A alternator and the Audiopipe volt meter rarely dips below 13v and is around runs 13.5 to 14.2 most of the time and that's with a 50x4 class A/B amp also so I'd say it's fairly efficient. It seems to use much more than my old pioneer 1200w

I purchased this amp about 8 months ago. It's powering 2 kicker L7 12s. The amp is great for the price, it puts out a lot of good clean power on a budget. My only issue is I had problems with the amp shutting on and off. I was able to warranty out the amp thanks to the great customer service. I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for a lot of power and average reliability.
