The other end is threaded 3/4- 16 (3/4" diameter x 16 threads per inch) for lathe chucks and accessories. Threads are rough, product needs deburred. Being a machinist I would be embarrassed to call this a finished product.

I have a Shopsmith and recently acquired a 4-jaw Taig chuck threaded 3/4" X 16. This adapter works perfectly. Now a small project in wood can start on the Shopsmith for turning, and then be transferred while still in the chuck to a Sherline Mill Rotary Table for further milled decoration. It could then be returned to the Shopsmith lathe if needed without any loss of alignment.
