For the price of these brushes, I seriously wasn’t expecting much but I was very surprised by their quality and how well they hold the paint. I paint a lot of minis for tabletop war games. I go through a lot of brushes and this pack of brushes is great for getting through the heavy lifting of batch army painting. The brushes are decent enough quality, but are super inexpensive, so I don’t worry about damaging them.

These brushes are fantastic! I’ve often found that detail brush sets have similar diameter/brush length or density. These really are a good variation, which is great for using them to do different things. For example, there’s a pinstripe style brush and a dense tiny brush for smaller detailed strokes. I’m looking forward to purchasing another set soon.

Pros: I loved the grip and the brushes worked for what I needed them for. Since purchasing, I've used these brushes for acrylic and watercolor paint and was pleased with the results.Cons: When using watercolor, I noticed the brushes don't retain much moisture so I had to dip frequently. However, it wasn't enough to stop me from getting the desired result. A huge con, and the main reason for the 4 stars was the handles. Although the grip is good, the handles are loose and unstable in about 1/3 of the brushes. I anticipate that they'll probably break. The only reason I didn't give 3 stars for this was because I've had experience with this before to know that a little wood glue makes them as good as new.
