We kept getting shrimp and small snails in the pump so was looking for something to protect them and this works great! It fitted our FX6 pump perfectly ☺️

This product came broken. One clip has somehow broken off through shipping. I "fixed" it by using gorilla glue such that the entire thing won't ever come undone. It is still easy to clean with a bottle brush though I can never take this fully apart. As for its purpose, it has done well in preventing my nano fish from getting sucked into the powerful filter. Would have been a 5 star if the product came unbroken!

I was worried about the flow with my X2. A week in and it seems fine. Some have reported clogging, but that could be caused by a number of reasons. Looks much nicer than the original. Seems to take up less real estate.
