Works great on the Toyota Sequoia 2006 passenger door. The old lock was OEM with damaged plastic and operating badly.This one works perfectly, opens and closes easily, need my actuator to be replaced because it hasn't worked since I got the car.

I mean it works. At least you can open and close your door. But thanks to the stupid design you need to manually unlock your doors in order to open from inside.OEM latches allow you to open if doors are locked automatically. Not this guy. Thanks to the design of the hammer.

Still had enough Time in the day to install the latch. It has performed exactly like it came from the manufacturer and installed without any problems.

This product was defective. After installing, I closed the door and was not able to open from inside or outside of truck. Had to take to mechanic and is ending up costing 1k . No warranty return available.

It is a good product. I was just trying some redneck stuff. I would recommend this for the right year truck. I bought the wrong one for my first gen tundra. But that isn’t the manufacturers fault. The first gen drivers door lock assembly is discontinued. I knew it was a gamble buying this one. At least it keeps the door shut.

I tend to see buy cheap expect cheap, I am in a crunch and needed a cheap replacment for my 04 sequoia. I didn't expect how cheap and poor quality this item was. If u could do negative stars I would. Holes strip very easily, after install got to slammed the door as it doesn't work to secure very easily. It's not worth the hassle to take it back out and send back. Just don't buy.
