This thing rips for the money. Couldn't upload video as was too big but is on YouTube under 87spools if u want to, see it. For a 3s brushless boat for this price you can't go wrong. It's not perfect as trim is so so, but for what it is it's a great little ripper.

Bought this boat to challenge my nephew and his Deer rc Challenger boat he received for Christmas. It not only performed as expected by matching his in speed but it also could turn on a dime vs the competition. Mission successful and many smiles π here!

It was fast for the first 2 minutes then stopped moving like the propeller came but when I finally retrieved it and after inspection the threaded end of the shaft on flex cable where the prop is held on came disconnected from the cable because it was only crimped when it should be soldered to the cable I had to replace the entire drive shaft and flex cable with a good quality one

Ran for first time , propshaft stripped out of drive coupling, acceptable for price and performance but disables toy , if you buy you will need to modify . Worth the effort though

This is my first time buying an RC boat. I have 2 Arrma RC cars with brushless motors that cost $500 a piece, so I tried to keep my expectations in check given that this boat is a fraction of what I paid for my cars. I was looking for a very fast boat and was reluctant to pay $300 plus - the price range of brushless boats in my local hobby shop. This boat exceeded my expectations. First off, it is VERY fast - so much so that if you aren't careful it can get away from you quickly. No problem though because the transmitter will warn you if you are in danger of taking it out of range. I was surprised at how far I could go and honestly the range is more than enough. Second, the ability to flip the boat back over with the transmitter after it capsizes is very, very useful. I am running my boat on a lake that has a decent amount of waves, so it is easy to flip once it hits a wave. That said, it did better on calm water and did not flip very often. I did not time the battery, but I ran it for 15-20 minutes at nearly full speed with no issues. Turning is very good and intuitive. I actually found it more fun that my RC cars because I didn't have to worry about flipping it and having to go out and flip it back over. I did end up buying two more batteries - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZFDJWR1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 because one battery wasn't enough for me. These batteries are slightly thicker and do not fit exactly in the holder, but given the way the top seals the battery compartment, it was snug and did not move. When running it hard, it got the boat to go under water a few times with no issues. I did notice a very small amount of water inside after running it, but nothing to be concerned about. Overall, the price is excellent for the fun this boat provides. I would recommend getting spare batteries if you want to run it for more than 15-20 minutes at a time.
