Wonderful little filters for my smaller tanks. I even have a 10 gallon where I'm running two of these and they are working very well. Maintenance is easy. Once a moth or so I remove the sponge filter, disassemble it and squeeze the sponge out thoroughly. Rinse everything, re-assemble and back in they go. Once you get into sponge filters you won't go back!

I am currently nurturing lotus bowl seeds, and I aspire to use them as a filter in my bowls. However, I've encountered a challenge: the bubbles they produce create quite a stir, often dislodging the delicate plants. Their potency is more than I anticipated, making it difficult to achieve the desired effect. Additionally, the suction cups provided are proving ineffective, as they struggle to stay attached to the side walls; the bubbles inevitably cause them to come loose. It isn't enjoyable, as this product seems to have missed the mark.

This is not a filter its just an air pump, with out a pump, also no tubing! Its just a small sponge with a few extra parts that don't fit together. Why make a pack full of miscellaneous sizes? If you are new, expect to do some more shopping around for all the extra parts you're gonna need to get this air pump going. Good luck on your massive project!!

It’s a basic sponge filter and does the job with no issues. The size is perfect for small tanks 5 gallons or less. You really can’t go wrong with this filter and I recommend it.

This is for the "up to 10 gallon 4 pc" filters. They work as advertised. Reasonable performance for the price. No, I would not use this filter for a well-stocked 10 gallon tank. We are using them for a 10 gallon partitioned to hold bettas - one filter in each section. No, they are not an airstone, they're sponge filters. If looking for small bubble aeration, buy airstones. No problem with them floating, the weight is sufficent for the filter to sink to the bottom (but squeeze the sponge once it's in the water first). The control valves work, but they're not high quality. Expect to fiddle with them to control/balance the air supply in a set up like we have.

The product works fine but I used received an opened and used order. I bought 4 and 3 were packaged in individual boxes and one was without a box and dirty and the foam was dented. It's a sponge filter, ofc it works. It almost floats so you may need to secure it with a rock or suction cup.

The sponge filter part are smaller than I thought but ok ide say for 3-5gal Max if using only one of the sponge filters. Everything is good quality I haven't had an issue at all with anything that came in this pack .
