I had a house foundation problem and in July 2016 I used a total of 6 AKRON PRODUCTS C-4 Floor Jack to level the kitchen and bathroom floors of my home. Recently, (August 2024) I went under my home and inspected the work done years ago to see if everything was still on good condition. I checked to see if the floor was still level and inspected the jacks for signs of rust or deterioration. I am happy to report everything is in great condition, no adjustments needed. Originally, I had doubts about the jacks, the came apart easily and I was skeptical if they would work. After 8 years I am convinced these Akron jacks are an excellent quality product.

It will work however maxxed out they are 16" tall which leaves no adj for higher and it would be tippsy. I will make it for a foot and build up pad also it comes in 4 pieces and is flimsy if you use it like this i will weld mine to make 1 piece

My AV Receiver weighs like 45 pounds and the shelf is starting to bend. That's the only place I could put the receiver because of where the cables come out there. It's black and pretty low profile so it's not much of an eye sore. you will need a crescent wrench to make adjustments once you get it all in place and hand tight.

This product worked, and I chose it over some other similar models because I liked that I could use a wrench to adjust it (not just a little bar). However, I did have it collapse on me once when it no longer had a load on it (since none of the jack is actually welded or bolted together, it just fell apart). Thankfully I had someone holding the wood post I was using or it could have landed on me. I was only using this as a temporary jack, so I could put a beam in place, but I have to say I don't think I would be comfortable with it as a permanent solution (I don't think it's meant to be).

I cannot give you a review on the floor jack because it's not what I wanted. The picture is exactly what I wanted but instead I received a small jack, In fact inches high. Had a hard time getting hold of the company to return this item so I would be refunded. I feel I should get free shipping on the return. I will not reorder from tHis company again. I'm hoping they will credit my account for the cost. Very disappointed with this company.

I replaced some wedged-in 4x4s with these under my bungalow to correct a sagging beam. I first embedded a solid concrete block in the ground as a footing at each location, and put these in place making sure each one was at a point where the beam intersected with a joist. Worked like a charm. Floors are now relatively level and much more solid.
