The unit is inexpensively built as you would expect in this price range (hard plastic back, less hard for the keys). It was delivered with zero instructions so had to search the web for a manual to work out the magic key combination to get the keyboard into pairing more for BT (Bluetooth) operation (took 30 mins playing with keys, getting frustrated and then searching online for the correct manual). Once connected it worked fine but be aware that there are separate key combinations to switch between iOS, Android and Windows operation (that the manual educated us on). For a modern iPad, placing the tablet in the slot made it awkward to reach the bottom of the display to swipe up from the Lock Screen or to get back to the Home Screen. My wife was expected an old fashion key clicking sound but the device is silent. It actual types fairly well but probably not for a touch typist.
