These days, if you have an inground pool you have to have an automatic robot cleaner! Just throw it in and watch it go. But be advised, they are not cheap...but they are worth the money. This Aiper unit is super nice. It came very well and professionally packaged. Tons of extras in the box too, including a hook to pull it out of the pool when it's done cleaning, extra filters and even extra treads for the tires! I've been using it a few weeks now and find that the battery life is decent and charge time is really fast. Roughly two hours (sometimes more) before it dies and "docks" itself at a wall to be retrieved by the hook. It's pretty hefty so make sure you really use your legs and not your back when you pull it out. The directions show that it will "map" your pool and follow a grid pattern to clean it. I haven't seen that happen yet. It looks like it's trying to do some sort of grid pattern, but then always ends up just going willy nilly all over the pool. That's not to say it's not cleaning well. In fact, I find that the two or so hours it is randomly vacuuming the pool it gets pretty much everything except the deep corners (a little swish with a brush on a pole before cleaning takes care of that though). It's also pretty easy to clean the filter and basket; just a quick spray with the hose and you're done. I would have given this a higher rating, but in order to communicate with it while it's in the water (to, for example, tell it to take a different path or put it into a more defined grid pattern) you have to have Aiper's proprietary communication module that costs around $500. This is already a pretty expensive unit and I just cannot justify the extra money. If it truly ran in a grid pattern and I did not need or want they extra module, this would get a four+ star rating.

I ordered the Scuba S1 Pro for our large, 28 foot rectangle shaped pool, and I'm incredibly happy with the quality, design, and performance! This pool vac consistently does an incredible job cleaning the bottom of the pool and never misses a spot!! The suction is powerful and picks up any debris sitting on the bottom of the pool. The battery life is probably what I like most as we can clean our pool twice, sometimes three times, before needing to charge it again. The charging time is also pretty fast for a cordless pool vacuum, which is yet another excellent feature!Overall, this is a very high-quality, well designed pool vacuum that works consistently well. I would highly recommend the Scuba S1 Pro, especially if you have a larger pool! Thank you!!

There's a lot of upside to owning an in-ground swimming pool. It's great to unwind in it after a hard day at work. It's great to cool off in it during hot weather. Throw in some cool lighting effects in and around the pool and you've got a great place for parties. The downside has always been the maintenance. I have a professional pool guy that comes once a week but even with that there's plenty of upkeep to do in between.Thankfully, technology has come to the rescue. It is now possible to automate much of the pool maintenance process. There's still *some* human involvement necessary but the workload has been cut significantly by devices such as this one. There's plenty of pool cleaning robots on the market but after trying a bunch of lower end models I've finally realized that in this case you definitely 'get what you pay for'. There's not a device to do it all (at least not yet) and that has necessitated a small army of pool cleaning robots to do my bidding. As far as do it all devices this one is close. Overall it is one of the best. It's specialty is cleaning the walls and floors of your pool. It's also got a cool waterline cleaning functionality. Much of the work is down by a downright burly pair of PVC rollers and a quad brushless motor system. It really goes to town on stains. Combined with the wall climbing technology which *still* blows me away it gets all of the surfaces of your pool nice and clean. Unlike many competing pool cleaners this one can handle all different shapes of pools, materials and even surfaces that aren't perfectly flat.It couldn't be easier to use. Just charge it up and it's ready to go to work. It'll clean for 180 minutes and then park itself at the nearest wall when its work is done or the battery is low. You literally just turn it on, throw it in the pool and it goes to work. Removal is simple and the thing drains extremely fast so you won't get all wet. AIPER technology is second to none and this is one of the best pool cleaning devices you'll find anywhere. Highly recommended!

I received this item for testing in the middle of winter, so I’ll post a preliminary review first and will update it once my pool is open in a few weeks. I have an uneven floor inground pool and some basic robot pool cleaners end up stuck at the deep end of the pool due to limited traction mobility power. This AIPER scuba unit should do the trick as it has dual PVC rollers that allows it to move almost like a tank. The ability to scale walls up to 90 degrees was the deal breaker for me to get this unit. Battery powered only, no solar power option. If it can run it’s 180 mins stated battery life, and Eco Mode provides 45 mins every 48 hours, then you should get about 4 runs every week before you need to pull it out of the pool to recharge (and likely need to empty out the debris basket anyways). Includes a very generous 2 year product care plan. I will update this review in a month or two after more usage.

As robotic pool vacuums go, this is a nice one, but it has a few issues. Mainly, the fine particle filter has holes that allow a lot of dirt and sediment to escape, so it really isn't functional. Our main issue isn't leaves and large debris, which this vacuum does well with, but smaller particles, which this vacuum doesn't handle well.Compared to our previous Aiper, which had wheels, the treads on this one are a big improvement. It grips well, turns easily, and navigates the pool without getting stuck. It also has a feature that lets you leave it in the pool and program it to run every day. The battery life allows for about 3 to 4 cleanings, so that's a nice option if you're out of town.Overall, it might be great for you, and it is a nice vacuum, but we still really need a hand-held one that gets the fine debris.

This robotic pool cleaner is pretty insane, it's transformed my pool maintenance routine. It's super time-saving as you can simply turn it on and go do your own thing. Not only that, it has the ability to scale 90-degree walls which was definitely a sight to behold. It cleans very well, and is simple and straightforward to set up. Its smart navigation system ensures comprehensive coverage, effectively cleaning the pool floor, walls, and waterline. The dual active PVC rollers and quad-brushless motor system provide powerful scrubbing and suction, leaving my pool spotless. The battery is rated 180 minute, for smaller to medium-sized pools it wouldn't be an issue. If you have a larger pool, you may want to consider getting 2 of these to run. The filter is very large and can filter most debris, but you should check on it periodically to clear any big leaves etc. Overall, it's a reliable and efficient solution for pool owners seeking hassle-free cleaning. If you are ok with the price, then I think this is a good option.

The AIPER Scuba S1 Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner is a pretty impressive device and a nice addition to our pool. I won't miss manually cleaning my pool, that's for sure.Pros:+ The standout feature for me is its ability to clean walls by scaling them; not something all cleaners can do.+ With 5 different cleaning modes (Auto, Eco, Waterline, Floor-only, Wall-only), it’s versatile and adaptable to different cleaning needs.+ The Eco Mode is especially handy, allowing the cleaner to run for 45 minutes every 48 hours on a single charge—perfect for maintaining cleanliness throughout the week without constant intervention.+ Maintenance is a breeze. Cleaning the filter is as simple as lifting the lid and emptying the basket.+ The included phone app is a nice touch, letting you program the cleaner and receive device status notifications easily.Cons:- The one drawback for me is its weight. While the lithium battery provides great power and runtime (up to 180 minutes!), it does make the unit a bit heavy and awkward to lift in and out of the pool.Final Thoughts:Despite being slightly cumbersome to handle, this robotic pool cleaner delivers excellent performance and convenience. It works with both in-ground and above-ground pools of various shapes and sizes, and even works while the pool is in use. Overall, I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a powerful, feature-packed pool cleaner!

The AIPER brand Scuba S1 Pro cordless pool cleaner robot is a brand-new 2024 state-of-the-art total cleaning solution product for swimming pools.Perhaps the first question on many minds is why would one drop almost $2 grand for this unit when dozens of other robot pool cleaners are available starting at $150? It is unfortunately too late in the season (November 25) to evaluate this product in action, therefore this reviewer, a retired University business professor, would propose starting this review with a price/value economic analysis for both commercial and private homeowner users, followed by a summary of the incredible capabilities and benefits offered by this truly unique product.Commercial operators:Availability of on-site swimming pools and the overall upkeep/cleanliness of these pools remains at or near the top of the list for lodging industry guests selecting a new property of choice, and perhaps most importantly, for the intention to return as repeat guests. Properties live and die by the outsize power importance of reviews on social media giants such as Trip Advisor.Traditional hotel pool daily cleaning typically costs several hours of $35+ with benefits, hourly labor. Many hotels have major challenges simply trying to find and retain service and cleaning staff.Worse, hotel pools must be closed during cleaning hours to protect guests from the tripping and safety hazards of live electrical cords and vacuuming hoses. Affected guests operating on tight time lines, or with young children eagerly awaiting use of the pool have been known to write scathing reviews on the impact of “closed for cleaning” impacts. The present item under review can reasonably be expected to pay for itself in less than one year based on labor cost savings alone. Additionally, this device does not require any training, always produces consistent quality results, is willing to work weekends or any time 24/7, does not call in sick or simply not show up for work, etc.Although this device does not have the hoses and electrical cords of traditional pool cleaning equipment, the pool should probably be closed as a precaution while operating. However, pool cleaning can now be scheduled for night audit staff to activate at 1 AM rather than dayshift cleaning staff needing to close the pool during normal guest use hours.Homeowners:The cost of installing all types of swimming pools increased significantly during the Covid era as homeowner demand increased proportionately. Cost increases have not abated since that time and the average inground pool cost is now more than $50,000, with many costing twice that and more.Real estate experts estimate that an average 14x28-foot inground concrete pool potentially adds 5 to 8 percent to the real estate value of a home. If your property is worth $500,000, you'll realize a boost to the value of your property of about $25,000 to $40,000.Against this backdrop, think of an investment in the present product under review as a type of insurance policy for maintaining and improving the value of your investment and your ongoing enjoyment and satisfaction of hosting and using a sparkling clean pool.Do you clean the pool yourself? Say goodbye to hour after hour of tedious and laborious traditional pool cleaning activities that can now be joyfully converted into pool time enjoyment hours and related activities while watching this device performing its magical cleaning activities on your smiling behalf.Do you hire a pool cleaning contractor instead? Celebrate the end of their ever more expensive monthly invoices by giving them a big thank you for their previous services rendered, and perhaps a couple of Tim Hortons gift certificates while bidding them adios.Because this is a new product, average lifespan is unknown. If it lasts for 5 years, your pool cleaning cost would be approximately $400 annually. If it lasts for 10 years, congratulations, your pool cleaning costs are closer to $200 annually. This is the very latest 2024 model from the brand. The most significant improvement from the previous model is the inclusion of full length propulsion tracks on each side of the machine replacing the wheels that were used on the predecessor. The tracks obviously provide much better traction capabilities than wheels, especially when the going gets tough such as climbing the walls of the pool and the stairs while performing cleaning activities.Battery life as also been improved and a full charge is good for 180 minutes (3 hours) of uninterrupted performance, enough to clean pools up to 2100 ft.². A smart navigation system magically glides the device back and forth over the area to be cleaned somehow ensuring that there is no over or under lap, ensuring that every square inch of surface area is covered.Still need convincing? Visit the corporate website to learn more of the substantial R&D accomplishments of a boutique company totally dedicated and laser focused to pool cleaning and maintenance equipment. Check out all the national and international product design and innovation awards earned. Conclusion:The AIPER brand Scuba S1 Pro cordless pool cleaner robot is a brand-new 2024 state-of-the-art total cleaning solution product for swimming pools. The device offers an excellent blend of performance and overall build quality. An overall product score of 5/5 is assigned accordingly.

This AIPER Scuba S Pro model allows full cleaning of the pool walls and floor, using the powerful suction to climb walls and hold it against the surface. Using the app you can either select walls, walls and floor, or just the pool floor. The app allows you to choose different 3 patterns on the wall and 5 different patterns on the pool floor. I'm not sure exactly the reasoning but whatever works best or flat or sloping floors I assume. The app also allows you to customize the cleaning schedule to cycle every 48 hours or select one-time cleaning only. We have a 24 foot round and the batteries last around 3 cleanings...so about a week on auto clean mode. It'll work in any shaped pool. It sinks automatically and goes right to work after it scans the shape of the pool. It has a water sensor so it will not turn on while it is out of the water. You can swim while it is cleaning or you can have it come on in the evening when any sediment has settled. I find it works best just in the morning before anyone disturbs the water. It's very quiet so you don't even know when it's running. The large filter is easy to remove, remove large debris, and spray out. Depending on how dirty our pool is it doesn't need to be cleaned and washed after every use. We find that it can go two weeks without manual cleaning and manual vacuuming. It's great for picking up small leaves and dead bugs. It will not kill or scrub algae off the floor or walls though but it will pickup sand, bugs, small leaves, pollen, and small tree buds and fluffs. It's great at that. If the leaves are two large it simply blows them out of the way or clogs. It's great for quick clean ups in between, more rigorous manual vacuuming. Less time cleaning and more time swimming! It's a handy "robo" pool vacuum, especially if you're busy in the summer and would just like to swim instead of vacuuming every other day. Basically just drop and go and it'll do all the work for a week. I really like how much time it saves me and our pool is ready to be swam in every morning. Certainly saves me two hours of vacuuming manually. My only consideration would be the price tag. It's not a cheap unit so the old saying goes "time is money and money is time," guess it's worth it if it saves you enough time and I don't like being in the sun for hours cleaning the pool so it is worth it to me. The second thing I think is important is that you need to keep the batteries charged regularly for optimal battery life. You also have to store this inside in the winter on charge otherwise it will severly affect the battery life and health. Nice unit, works well, and the tracks work awesome!
