This solar lantern is BIG! It's about twice the size of most of the brass-colored ones you see a lot on here, so just an FYI. It is also pretty light-weight, which due to the size makes it very prone to falling over and getting taken by a gust of wind so you will need to hang or anchor it somehow.All that aside, it is still WELL worth the cost, which is very reasonable, especially since it is a unique item. Part of the uniqueness is the blue coloring in the interior, which at night illuminates a pretty shade of blue INSIDE, while the projected lighting around the OUTSIDE area is a warm white (which looks more like an orange-gold).The shape cut-outs are not as well-defined in the pictures I took but they do look more "crisp" than that.As said above, the value is very good and I would most certainly buy this again.

I ordered this solar powered lantern in the “flamingo” variety. The lantern is quite large, about 12” tall and around 5” in diameter. It looks and feels well constructed. The lantern’s light arrived pre charged. The flamingo and palm tree cutouts cast really cool looking shadows as well. In the seller’s listing photos the light looks quite pink and yellow- like a sunset. This is not the case in real life. The led light is a warm white color. The outer portion of the lantern is black while the inner part a coppery-orange shade. There’s nothing pink about it. That small disappointment aside, I am overall pleased with both the quality and aesthetic appeal of this cool looking solar lantern.
