Had to make alterations in order to use these spindles. The height of the shaft did not line up with the brake pad. To low , had to raise the housing up about 1/2’ . But it’s done ✅

This hub and pulley assembly were identical to the one removed. It fit and performed well. I added grease through the grease fitting installed to insure good lubrication as there were no instructions to do otherwise.

first one arrived damaged. second one OK even though package was damaged. Should have been double boxed with packing material in between because weight of part caused damage to single sided box on both shipments. Luckily the second part was not damaged and operated as described. longevity to be determined.

Even though this appears to be a Chinese knock-off, these spindles looked and fitted perfectly. The pulley's are not as heavy duty as the original but work fine. Nice feature about these spindles is they have a grease fitting! Once I refurbish the original spindle's I will have a couple spares! My lawn tractor is a 2008 model and I just couldn't justify spending over $300 for spindle's.

I've just bolted this on, and it is perfect, even better than the original product. I like the fact that it can be greased, so expect it to last well. I did sharpen the blades before use, and did a rough balance, as I read some reports of vibration, but I haven't suffered any yet. I'm cutting wet grass and have mowed approx 1/2 an acre.Good buy, good price,quick delivery. Perfect.

(This is MAINLY for the Seller, AND Amazon!)I have a Troy-Bilt - Pony 'lawn' tractor with a 42" deck. These Deck Spindles were advertised to match the parts for my deck spindles (918-04456B.)The prime reason I purchased THESE Deck Spindles was the significantly lower price. However, I have come to regret it.These Spindles fit (as advertised), but when I began engaging the blades of my deck, there was a profound vibration/oscillation with something related with the blades being used. The ONLY new (changed) items on the deck were the 2 spindles I had purchased. As they were the only items changed, I am pretty sure they are the cause of this terrible 'rumbling.' I can both hear AND feel this vibration, and it is very irritating.Also, over an hour after I began utilizing the new spindles (I have a large yard) I noticed the grass that I had just cut was beginning to have a 1/2" difference in the freshly cut grass between the location of the blades meeting in the middle of the deck (and where the 'inside' of the deck's new cut met the 'outside' of the deck's old cut.) It was as if both spindles started to 'lean.' These should NOT wear out after just over an hour of use.I physically checked the spindles after I finished mowing. Both spindles rotated with no resistance or noise/sound. I also tried to 'torque' both blades up and down to see if I could indicate any kind of bearing/spindle failure. NONE was observed.I do NOT suggest these Deck Spindles as a replacement for what you have.
