The feathers are made from Turkey Feathers with a fluffy sort of downy bit towards the middle and flows out to a flatter feather towards the ends. Chandelle is not as dense and close to the string as marabou boas are. Uses: Crafts, trim, cuffs, wreaths, scarfs, floral and wedding decor, fund raisers, corporate events, looks like snow on a mantle or table at the holidays.

Fun and great for a girls night. But be prepared for black hands form the dye. You’ll leave your mark with a trail of fallen feathers.

This Boa is much better quality than the pricing suggests. For such a low cost I figured it would be a rather cheap looking boa but really it's not. it fluffed up extremely well .I used the blow dryer and you can see from the difference in the photo. It is from half way threw blowing it with a dry. You can see how much fluffier it got also I didn't have much trouble with the shedding . I don't really know but there wasn't a lot of shedding and I shook it and shook it and shook it just to be sure . Even with the blow drying it didn't shed much. I'm definitely going to purchase from this company again for boas in other colors I want .

We bought this as part of a costume for a school event. It was really cute but left feathers everywhere! By the end of the day there were so many bald spots we just threw it away. For the price, it served its purpose so I'm not unhappy about the purchase but if you're looking to use this piece more than once I'd look for something of higher quality.

This is exactly as I imagined it. It is a decent quality. It does shed very fine little feathers. It is a solid black color. It's nice that they offer a variety of colors. The price is great at $9.99. I would recommend to others. It is more of a play boa than a true fashion boa.
