Washer leaking past seal after installing. Reinstalled a couple times to ensure it has been installed correctly. Product is different from original OEM, unfortunately OEM is no longer available so I gave this a try and it didn’t work.

installed kit with washer between stim and seal (OEM Kits don't use this) and it leaked from the get go. the spanner nut to pull inner basket stripped the threads from the stim when removing. after cutting the spanner nut and removing the stim the washer between the stim and seal was all bunched up. i removed this and the original parts never used that and tried again. washer started leaking on second test. not good !!!

Always be cautious when purchasing repair parts. I had an issue with these repair parts but I am very grateful for the company who sold them for being responsive and reaching out to me to try to rectify this matter. Thanks to their responsiveness, the issue was resolved.

I thought the quality looked a little poor but it would still function but no such luck. It imediately started leaking after I installed it and water tested. Then I took it apart to see what was up and I noticed the bellow were molded very poorly. I tried to put some sealant on the bottom to see if I could salvage the job but it is just a poorly made POS that should not be on the market. The set screw to lock it in place was " metric". So make sure you have a metricallen wrench set or you will not be able to lock the seal in place on the shaft. I can't express how disappointed I am on this part. It is a big job to have to do over, plus the cost of a laundermat while I wait again for another part to be shipped. If there was a NEGATIVE 5 STAR I would not even give it to this supplier if I could.-

It is no longer leaking and it's at a good price. Thank you. Worked for my Maytag. Replaced it with the bearing at the same time.
