From what I understand, this sensor is part of an engineering flaw in the 2005 Jeep TJ so I have to replace this every couple of years. Wish there was a better way but once it starts throwing camshaft position codes, this is the only solution I've found. As far as this specific sensor, it cleared my code; we'll see how long this one lasts....

It seems like a hit or miss with these sensors. I’ve gone through like 2-3 of them already for my Jeep. Made the mistake and trashing my original which was apart of my oil pump drive assembly 4 years ago. This one, upon installation, reset pcm to make sure all is good. Started the engine, drove about 100 metres to find the engine light eliminate. Engine hiccupping at 2000rpm. P0344. Camshaft sensor. It’s a faulty sensor. I put my old one back in and no code has been thrown yet and I’ve driven 100km. Returning this and I’ll see if I can find a mopar and not some aftermarket crap
