This is well made, with the exception of the arm strap loops. The loops are made from plastic but should be constructed with metal. If it is actually made of metal, it just seems cheap.

I'd start by saying exactly the quality you'd expect from 5.11 Tactical. Very well made range bag with quality stitching and zippers. Its larger than I thought it would be, plenty of room for weapons, ammo, magazines for multiple guns. I personally loved the color. I have enough black bags. I'm a Drsert Storm vet and love the Sandstone. Dark enough for any conditions and to hide dirt or stains, but not as light as all the desert colors. Great in any environment.The storage space is huge as are the pockets. They also include another tote bag inside of it along with a brass carcg bag for poicing brass after shooting.This bag is also large enough and good looking enough for other uses. Weekend getaway packing, etc.Overall with a little care, this is a quality product that will last a lifetime. Putting it with my go bags for quick access.Not the cheapest out there but 5.11 is top quality and here you get what you pay for!

Super capacity for storage! This bag is so big, with large compartments, perfect for my needs. The fabric feels very thick and durable. All the zippers work smoothly/no catching. The handles are stitched on very secure. I have this bag loaded up, rather heavy, and everything is holding together no problem.

I have a whole bunch of items by 5.11, and I think for some things, I would go with other brands (carriers, boots, etc.) But with many other items (pants, belts, backpacks), 5.11 nails it perfectly. This bag is one of the items where they nailed it. This thing is tough, it looks great, it has plenty of room, and I think it’s going to last me a good few years.If you were going to use this as a range bag, you’ll be able to fit more magazines in here than you could use in a day. You could add in ammo, pistols, and even a PCC. The side pockets fit AR mags really well, almost like they were sized for them.One interesting thing about this bag is the color. It’s sandstone. This is not FDE, it’s not OD Green, it’s not Ranger Green, or anything else you find in the market. But this is what I like about it - I like that it stands out. Everything else I have matches. The boys and I throw some bags in the back of the truck and I know immediately which one’s mine.This is perfectly functional - that’s why I like it, but it doesn’t hurt that it looks good too. You get what you pay for - the quality of the bag, between the solid zippers, great stitching and the durable fabric construction all justify the price to me. Or you could buy a $40 Wallyworld special and have it fall apart after three trips to the range…. No thanks.

This thing is awesome. I have been using some random cheap quality duffle bag I got from an NRA membership way back in the day as my range bag. It was terrible quality with zippers that failed after only a few uses. When I came across this 5.11 range bag on Amazon, I decided it was time for an upgrade and ordered it right away. I couldn't be happier. This thing is SOOOO much better than my old bag. As soon as I grabbed it out of the box I could tell it is infinitely better quality than the cheesy one I had before. The zippers are so much my robust and work really well. This bag also has a bunch of different pockets and compartments to keep everything neat and organized and I love it. One of the pouches has a whole bunch of mag holders, which is awesome so you don't have mags flopping around all over the place. It even has a removable caddy thing in the main compartment that you can use to organize a lot of small items, or you can take it out to use the main compartment for bulkier things like pistol cases and such. I have always been happy with all of the other 5.11 products and clothing I have purchased over the years and I'm happy to say I am equally pleased with this. This has been a huge upgrade for me and I am extremely happy I found it.

This bag is big, so big it has an internal removable bag in the main compartment. The large side pocket holds a good number of pistol magazines, and the other side pockets are perfect for AR mags. It came with a dump pouch as well, perfect for policing your own range brass. A water bottle holder on the outside means you can stay hydrated at the range. Overall this bag is big, well built, and will carry everything you need. One caveat, the color is like they took ODG and FDE and mixed them together; it doesn’t match anything else I have.

It is 5.11 so the quality is there, durable and thick material. Well thought out design and priced very well. Its not 5 stars because of the zippers, the zippers are not the heavy duty kind you would expect on a range bag. Ammo and weapon related items are very heavy and to not have a heavy duty zipper for at least the main compartment will be this bags demise over time. Also, this is a large range bag, much larger than the pictures suggest, I was very impressed with the size and overall quality, but the zippers.
