About this item

  • 【Efficient Energy Generation】: This 500W vertical axis wind turbine utilizes a helical design and a permanent magnet generator to operate effectively in low wind speed environments. Its high power output and low starting wind speed make it ideal for maximizing energy production.
  • 【Durable Construction】: Built with a nylon fiber, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and the plastic spraying process, this wind turbine withstands harsh weather conditions for long-term, stable performance in various environments.
  • 【Quiet and Reliable】: Designed with precision double bearings and wind-assisted wheel , it ensures smooth and low-noise operation below 30dB, maintaining the tranquility of your surroundings while providing reliable energy.
  • 【Safe Design】: Features an intelligent microprocessor controller,When the product reaches the braking voltage (14.4V), it slows down until the voltage drops to about 12V, then speeds up again. This cycle repeats to ensure stable and safe operation.
  • 【Easy Installation and Versatile Application】: Comes with clear instructions and a humanized flange mounting system for quick setup. Ideal for homes, boats, gazebos, mobile homes, and streetlights, it offers a clean energy solution for diverse settings.

Application

This product is suitable for home, business, and industrial energy supply for boats, gazebos, cabins or mobile homes, and the tops of streetlights.

First of all, I found the instructions for assembly quite lacking. One sheet of paper with a reference to other instructions that I could never find almost made me give up, but I didn't. The other flaw with assembly is that it comes with a flange for attachment, but not an obvious way to actually attach it.However, the biggest flaw is that even the light winds that it requires are more than my average wind speed. I thought that my location was fairly breezy, but the breezes that I feel seldom reach the velocity that actually lets this turbine turn. In the month that I have had it mounted, I don't think that I have generated any significant amount of power. In fact I supplemented the windmill with a very small solar panel just so that I could generate enough power to see the readings on my recording meter.

It's all right.1st off...got it quickly, like it was in a warehouse waiting to ship out. Absolute 5 on shipping and timeliness.Received and assembled...all parts were there with extra screws/bolts. Assembly was awkward but I got it...finally. my issue was that the screws/Allen bolts did not want to find the hole to attach properly and I had to force them into the proper alignment. Came with the Allen wrenches, both sizes, but a few of the screw/bolt/fasteners just did not want to go all the way. Where they were supposed to recess, about 5 would not, as if they there off their threads. After multiple times of unscrewing to rescrew they simply would not. In the end I forcefully with a lot of "persuation" tightened as much as I possibly could. Well see when the next strong spring winds blow thru. Heh. About a 3.9 in assembly. It's assembled and secure, but I fought with it to the end to make it right.Install comes tomorrow. I admit I new to wind power technology, but not new to electricity in general. The turbine does not come with any poles, I think that's obvious from the sell pics. You can attach as is, they do provide the attachments for that....but I am picky and want it in a specific place where I would need a 10' pole to anchor in the ground and attach turbine at the top. Turbine comes with 3 power leadoff to plug into controller. Again, I am picky and plan to wire a small distance from install location to controller next to battery. Controller has the 3 leads for the turbine to connect as well as the leads to go to the battery. It will need additional wire to make it from the controller to the battery. It's an easy fix, just making you aware. Assuming install goes well with no issues, I can see it taking maybe an hour or two for completion, just cuz I gotta dig a hole...heh. maybe a simple 4.5 for install.
