These grommets work well for any kind of craft! It was annoying trying to find an anchor tool that worked with the large grommet size, but eventually I did and it was easy to work with. It’s perfect if you already have the tool, but if not, opt for a listing that includes it!

Disclaimer: they do not come with the tools needed to apply the grommets. These are just the o rings and grommets. Luckily I have those. The grommets are nice and shiny, they feel and look better than the set I had gotten somewhere else. I used them on denim and on thick plastic material for my small greenhouse I’m making for my seedlings. They have a good grip and did not tear my materials.

While there are a lot of these I would not recommend using them on any clothing. They are not built with very high quality metal. They do not come with the punch to install them you have to get that separately. I am concerned with the sharp edges they will cut into my fabric in the incorrect places. If used on a tarp as shown I suspect the wind would tear them out due to the sharp edges. I decided to used them on a throw pillow as decoration which turned out cute. This will allow them to not be in a high demand environment or require much washing. Concerned they may rust. If you need a lot for something that is temporary would recommend.

This is a HUGE pack of 3/8 grommets and washers in set for all of your crafting type needs. They're well made and perfectly identical. The washers are sized just right for the grommets, and once you get the hang of it you can run through a job within minutes. Allows you to DRAMATICALLY reinforce a hole, giving it structural strength instead of leaving it prone to tear-out (hence it's use in canvas and tarps). These work great and are easy to install. I needed these to add an extra eyelet to the belt of leather motorcycle chaps. The eyelet was easy to install, similar to previous ones I've delt with. I did not count to make sure there was 500, I'm going to take the sellers word on it! I do wish I came with an anvil for installing. It's the biggest eyelet I've worked with and did not have one to work with. I substitutioned with a metal block and it worked well enough. It definitely takes practice to install (I'm not a professional).The quality is identical to those I've worked with before. I love that it has a grommet for the back. Nice heavy duty feeling grommets with the o ring for tarp or tent or anything else you can think of! Great 500 pack for all of your crafting or sewing needs! Nice shiny grommets.
