This is a cute, fun puzzle of a little beach shop. The pieces are thick, sturdy cardboard in vibrant colors, with distinct detail, and they interlock tightly. The pieces are all pretty uniform, with none of those weird, crazy shapes some puzzles have. The pieces come in a lavender drawstring bag that you can use to store them, although we transferred them to a ziplock bag to minimize risk of loss. The puzzle also comes with a picture of the puzzle image to help when putting it together. It's not full-sized, maybe about 85% the size of the puzzle, but definitely bigger and easier to see detail than using the puzzle box lid. The pieces are also labeled on the back with letters, segmenting them into six sections, that can be used to simplify the process of organizing the pieces and putting the puzzle together if you want. We don't use them, but it might help if you are a novice puzzler or have multiple people working on the puzzle, or you just want to make it really fast and easy to complete. I thought the puzzle was pretty easy and completed it in under 10 hours total. I recommend this puzzle, especially if you are looking for some easy, relaxing fun. It might be especially good for children if they enjoy jigsaw puzzles.

This jigsaw puzzle is of a gorgeous jungle scene of animals, flowers, waterfall, and birds. Simply beautiful! But I was a quite disappointed that the box, which carries the photo of the scene was not larger. Worse, the photo was cropped too much, cutting off edges of the original. So, to combat that, I found my shiny photo paper and with the scene enlarged on my computer as far as it will go, made a few copies of the entire scene. Therefore, if there will be several people working on the puzzle at once, they don't have to be calling constantly for the box! And since, as I've said, the edges of the scene on the box are cropped, and as everyone who has ever put a puzzle together knows, you put the edges together first. And for that, you need a clear photo of the edges! So I hope you can do that and it won't keep you from buying this pretty thing. And if you can't, well, it'll be a little more difficult but not impossible. But because this problem never should have arisen, I am cropping a star!OOPS!!! Bummer! I didn't see that and since this will one day be a gift, I hadn't opened it. On the side of the box, it says: BONUS POSTER INSIDE !!! And indeed, inside is a large beautiful poster. With uncropped edges! So my apologies to the manufacturers and sellers and here is your star back.

I just finished putting this puzzle together. It's exactly as it appears in the photo. The pieces are well cut. I hate it when the backing peels off and the puzzle pieces aren't cleanly cut. This was a fun puzzle to do in a heat wave when you just want to stay inside.

This was a fun jigsaw puzzle that we put together with our 8-year-old grandson. It includes a “Poster” which is very helpful for assembling the puzzle as the box graphic cuts off some pertinent details (especially at the top). It also comes with a lavender colored bag to hold all of the pieces!The backs of the recycled cardboard puzzle pieces feature either A’s, B’s, C’s, D’s, E’s and F’s which is somewhat of a “cheat” if you get stuck. When assembling the puzzle, the top half is created (from left to right) as “C – B – A” and the bottom half is created (from left to right) as “F – E – D”). And, yes, we “cheated” by looking at these “hints” on the back of the puzzle pieces when completing this puzzle!This puzzle took several hours to complete with three people working on it. We had a fun time with this very colorful puzzle! It's a wonderful rainy-day activity that gets your child or grandchild away from television and computer screens. . . for a while anyway.This puzzle is for ages 8+ as it does have 500 pieces! I hope that helps!

The puzzle set is well made and used quality materials, but the spelling errors detract from the enjoyment. The box cover even states "Finest Qualit". Oops. The puzzle pieces also have hints on the backside of the pieces. I would prefer not to have that.Overall, it will be a decent puzzle to put together but I doubt I will keep it to use again.

I ordered this puzzle for our upcoming beach vacation (always need an alternative activity for those gray days!). 500 piece puzzles seem like the right cost benefit for time invested and completion. I love the beach scene on the face of this puzzle.The pieces are made of strong recycled cardboard and are much stronger than pieces of I have seen from puzzles in the same price range. The images on front (and back) are well attached with no signs of peeling. The colors are bold, the lines distinct and the cuts sharp, making this an enjoyable and stress free puzzle experience.The kit comes with a fold out image of the puzzle, which is super helpful when your puzzle making crew involves multiple people. The kit also comes with an attractive mesh bag, helping to reduce the chance of losing any pieces between completions.What is really nice about this puzzle is that it has printing on both sides - the gorgeous seaside scene on one side, and a little bit of a cheat sheet, or confidence builder on the other. The back side is divided in to sections, with each section showing a different letter. This backing can help to organize pieces (though I prefer to organize by color, or shape), and can also really help when you think you have a critical piece match, but others are not convinced, you can flip the pieces over, and if the letters line up, you are good to go.
