Ok so I got these on a whim just to see how they'd work. I mean, I'd seen the little hand towels and even keep a little bucket of them around but a full sized towel?These are great though.. Obviously you have to get them wet to expand them so ya know, hard to use them to dry anything off right away. I mean in theory you could rub the compressed brick against whatever is wet and allow it to wick the moisture into the rest of the towel but....Honestly it's just nice to be able to have something you could throw into a bag and know you've got the option later. They're definitely durable enough to air dry and reuse though I'm not sure it'd survive a washer very well and don't feel like shredding it among my clothes and all to test but it may well survive at least once or twice.

I got these for our trip overseas and they worked out very well. In the past, I would pack all of our towels and it almost filled up an entire suitcase, since we are a family of 5. These saved me so much space that I was able to bring a lot more this time. I also like the thought of not having to pack them up on the way back. Despite being labeled disposable, we were able to use these for the entire length of our trip which was about a month. The quality is very good and much better than the compressed hand towels I got a couple years ago. They dry very fast and are ready for use again after just a couple hours.
