The tape is well packaged and does not come in a generic box which is a plus. The tape itself is well packaged and looks like what you see in a big box store. The tape is a little glossier than I am used to and the adhesive seems about normal for painters tape- a little on the less sticky side. Typically I purchase 6 roll packs so this box of 48 is for the professional. The tape is difficult to open as I did not see a tear strip. Other than that and the slick glossy outside functions like you would expect.

This tape has worked well so far. I am painting my home office and this tape is a lot better than many other types I’ve used in the past. The roll is the perfect size to wear on your wrist when using it so you don’t have to keep setting it down or forgetting where you just put it when working on a project. It has a nice adhesive that is not so sticky that it damages whatever it is stuck to while still adhering well enough to prevent paint seepage when painting along the edges. It is also a different material than most other tapes, and I like it a lot better. It has more of a paper feel to it and it seems to help avoid stretching and leaving uneven lines. Also, it tears much easier with a cleaner line. I think this might be the best painting tape I have ever used.Definitely my favorite.

I ordered this huge box of painter's tape for a DIY repaint job I planned to undertake with the help of some friends. While well-meaning, my friends were not experienced in the painting department, so I was concerned about possible paint drips, penetration and overpainting along the baseboards and crown moldings. I was relieved to see this box contained a lot of tape rolls (all individually wrapped), so we could use it liberally along the relevant areas. Sure enough, this tape was a stress-saver; it is easy to roll out, adheres firmly, and can be removed just as easily without any damage to the walls, baseboards, or crown moldings. In our case, we removed the tape after 24 hours, and there were no paint drips between the wall and tape, either. We also have plenty of tape left over for future painting projects, so I am quite pleased with this purchase. At $1.67/ roll this box of tape is a bargain too, so I will continue to use this tape brand, and recommend it.

I needed lots of rolls of painter's tape to paint my 2 rental units, inside and out. I wanted something that was UV resistant because I was going to need to leave the tape on for several days, especially the outside. This tape seemed to fit the bill, so I ordered it.When it got here, I compared it to some of the more expensive name brand and it did look a little thinner However, it was stickier than the name brand, which was something I was hoping for.We masked the 2 units over a couple of days and then started on the painting. I was worried that we would have to go back and rub the tape in to make sure it was still adhering well, but that was not needed as it was still in place with no lifting.It took a few days to get all the painting done because there were only 2 of us, and we didn't have the best equipment to make the job easier and faster. After the paint had dried, and we removed the tape, much to my surprise, there was no bleed through at all. I have always got at least some with the name brand, but I guess this one wasn't bleeding through due to the stronger adhesive.I was also worried because it looked slightly thinner than the name brand, but this tape performed very well, and produced even better results than I had always gotten with the big name brand. Plus, the big name brand was more than triple the price.If you need good quality painter's tape that performs well and want a good price, then you need to consider this product. Better results than the name brand and saves a lot of money.

We're looking at doing a lot of interior painting in our house soon, so we'll need a lot of tape. With this box of 48 rolls of tape for (at the time of this review) $80 [$1.66 each], we will save a bit of money on tape. With most painters tape being between $5 and $15, this is quite a bargain. From first impressions, these seem to be better than name brand tape too.The tape is smoother and seems more sticky than name brand tape. It's different, but that can be a good thing. We haven't bought paint yet so I haven't tested the quality when it comes to actual painting. These rolls of tape look promising. I have used this tape to hold edges together of silicone mold making. The tape performed as expected. Sticky enough to hold d the forms together but not too sticky where its hard to remove the forms. I've had painters tape fail holding silicone mold making forms. Makes a big mess when the form doesn't stay together. It's great to have tape that can be reliable.So far I am pleased with this tape. If I ever encounter a situation where this tape fails expectations, I will return to give an update.

I have to say that I'm pretty impressed by this masking tape from Gomedi. I've used many brands over the years. Some were good, some were garbage. This sits as one of the best tapes that I've used. The adhesive on this tape compares to the much more expensive "green colored" tape. It's super sticky, yet it pulls off clean without taking paint with it.I've used it for creating border lines with paint and had no bleed through at all. It helps if you do lay the tape and allow it to sit for a half hour, then go back over it with your fingers before you start painting. You shouldn't get any paint bleed through then. I also like to pull the tape off back towards itself. That helps to release the adhesive without pulling off paint.This tape also works well on auto paint. It sticks without pulling up on both paint or plastic and it leaves no residue behind. I use it to mask off parts of my truck I don't want to touch with wax or my polisher. It has held up to sun and Mississippi heat like a champ. Still, no adhesive residue left behind.The price is also a great deal for tape this good. There may be similar deals out there, but is their tape this good? I doubt it.
