I was expecting this set of metal pegboards to be lighter and was pleasantly surprised at how dense they are. It would take some effort to warp or misshape one of these. The dense steel allows for using magnets as well as the normal pegs. Also, the paint is applied with top notch quality and I didn't see any imperfections. Hardware includes panhead wood screws and some plastic anchors (which I would not recommend using...find the studs and screw into them).I had, however, two small complaints, the first of which is fairly trivial. First, I would have preferred the screws and washers to be coated black. I think this would look better than the chrome finish which make any misalignment more noticeable. Second, despite stating that the edges are precisely machined, they are not. The bends in the metal are not all at 90 degrees and when aligning the edges it can be that the slight warp might show. I used a pair of sheet metal tongs and a rag to bend them closer to 90. Again, it's not a huge deal and I liked these so much I ordered another set. Still, they could stand to have a little more attention to detail.*NOTE* My reviews do not and will not contain any AI generated content.
