Decent set of 3-8 pin IC chip clamps. These will clamp on surface mount IC chips to perform different diagnostics, value reading and programming of certain chips without removing the chip from the board. I got theses thinking I needed to re-program an Eprom on an older microprocessor board but was able to read the chip and determine that it was not corrupt. These are pretty handy and the springs hold quite well. It did not come with wires but I had an assortment of test leads that worked quite well. For the cost, these were a pretty good deal for the cost.

I got these for some IC debugging and communication without removal of the chip from the PCB. These fit the SOIC-8 package fine, and so far the connection to each pin has been fine for most attempts I've had. This so far has been great for debugging with an oscilloscope on the chip, and though I haven't needed to yet I'm sure I'll use it for reflashing or dumping the flash on SPI memory ICs which commonly come in this package. No issues yet, and it's great to have three of them in the pack
