Installation Instruction
STEP1
- Apply gasket adhesive stuff on the bottom, place the plate in place and properly press it.
STEP2
- Directly insert the tiny in the pin.
STEP3
- Place the impeller directly on top of the plate.
STEP4
- Apply some soap( for smoother installation ) inside the housing. Apply some gasket adhesive stuff on the bottom of the housing and place it in place. Then rotate the drive shaft so that the impeller and housing can be aligned.
STEP5
- Apply some grease on the bolts and install it by a screwdriver.
STEP6
- Apply some grease on and in the grommet, then put it in place.

Bought this kit to fit a Johnson 1968 20 hp. The part number is correct per the manufacturer but when you get the kit, the inside diameter of the impeller is .550. It should be 500. Also the O-ring at the top of the driveshaft is too large. Other than that, aluminum, housing, and other parts seem to be fine.

Arrived late, impeller ID was 0.052" oversized, did not work for my 1978 20hp Evinrude, Made in China....yes, they probably ALL are, but this one wasn't even restamped or reboxed to try to look like OEM. Disappointed.

Replaced onimpeller kit that looked fine but wasn't pumping good but this kit pumps great!
