The color and size variation in this set of purple-toned shells adds to their value and reinforces that they occur this way naturally. The shells were carefully packaged and all arrived intact.

These are a real disappointment. They all have scale and worm casings attached to the tops. They look nothing like the shells in the photo. Well, not nothing - they are scallops, and they do have some pink to them. But they are really poor quality. I got these to use in my artwork but not a single one is suitable. This is definitely more than needing washing, these need an acid bath. These are not worth the money and I do not reccomend them.

Well packaged so the shells arrived without any damage; actually, the container they were in was so well packaged it was difficult to open! But shells were exactly a described. They look more real in person; I was afraid they'd look fake but they're actual shells. There are more than pictured, about 20.You can use them for a fun group activity, like a small bridal shower or birthday party activity, especially if you're being beach-themed: You can purchase decorative paints and designs for them as the activity, or use them to decorate an area naturally. I live close to the beach, but it takes me forever to gather whole shells. I don't live in an area with scallop shells, but I don't think I've ever been able to gather 20 *any* whole unbroken shells. So this was a good shortcut.

These are beautiful shells. The coloring varies they are natural. I order a lot of shells and these were by far packaged the best. Most others I have received in the past have had little to no padding. These came in a plastic cylinder container and the shells were filled to the top so there was not movement inside. In addition to that, they had an outer bubble wrap. Kudos to supplier! You can see in my pictures they all arrived in great condition. These shells are a bit more shallow and don't have as much curve as other shells that I have ordered---this is fine with me. You can also see in my pictures the size difference between the largest and smallest shell.
