This was cute and I was excited for my bunny to have something new to try. The material was nice and it reminded me of a sponge. However, my rabbit did not care for it and never ended up playing with it. Might work for some rabbits but not for all.

I thought our rabbit would love these loofahs. But he wasn't the least bit interested until I followed the suggestion of tucking some little treats inside. He will chew just enough to get to the treats, and the ignore the loofah. Although he quickly realized that just giving them a bit of a shake will allow most of the treats to just fall right out, anyway. So, at least he is getting some fun out of these.The dried loofahs are very light and airy -- they feel practically weightless. But the fibrous material certainly is very tough. I can see how beneficial chewing on one of these would be for the teeth of rabbits and other small animals The loofahs have been cut into generously sized sections. The pictures accompanying the product description gives the approximate dimensions as just over 3" X just under 2" so they are about the same size as half of a plump ear of corn (the only comparison I could think of). Just the right size for a bunny, I would think. I put one on a cord to hang inside of his cage and he does seem to like batting it around once in a while. Maybe that is for the best because while of course this is a natural product, there is also no way to know the conditions the plant has been grown under. And the country of origin is not specified in the description or on the packaging.Note: the description mentions that these loofahs are also suitable for other pets, but I would check up on that before giving one to a dog, especially a smaller breed.This 3-pack of loofahs arrived simply packed in a plastic bag. The pack does seem a bit pricey to me when compared with similar products that are also available.
