They’re much bigger than others of the same size. My daughter loves the pearls on the top and the quality does feel great, the size is just not right. That’s the only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars. I even sent one back and got the smaller size and the bottoms and the strap top are still too big. I’m keeping it because she will hopefully be able to wear it next summer or even later this summer, and she loves the colors/pearls and mermaid design. It’s a good swimsuit, just know to go at least one, maybe even two sizes down.

This three piece swimsuit is made from a quality fabric. It's securely stitched. The design is cute with the ruffled bottoms and straps on the sleeveless top. The long sleeve top provides much needed sun protection. The colors are bright and eye catching. This will be a cute addition to our little one's swim attire.

My daughter really loves the mermaid print of the swimsuit. It fits well and I like that it has the rash guard along with it. My dad’s an extra layer of sun protection and is perfect for when my daughter’s skin needs a break from the sun. It washes well and I haven’t noticed any fading.

As far as looks go, it’s cute and my kiddo loves it (that’s the most important part). She was so excited to be a mermaid that she wore the rashguard to bed lol So it’s definitely kid approved!As for the size and cut, I have mixed feelings. The bottoms are small, which is fine since my kiddo is really slim, but the top and rashguard seem disproportionately larger. Despite it being large, the sleeves of the rashguard are slightly short on my kiddo (maybe she has unusually long arms?). I think her wrists will be fine but it’s why I’ve taken off one of the stars. The second star deduction is the cut of the swimsuit bottoms. The crotch is cut VERY slim. It covers what it needs to cover, but I think this bathing suit will be used in our backyard only since it kind of causes a wedgy issue and big jumps and kicks are a little too revealing for my liking (and I’m not even a modest type mom!)I do want to mention that the neckline for the bathing suit top has a line of pearls that could pose a choking hazard to littler siblings. I didn’t notice this until I got the package so I wanted to be sure people knew this.The pattern, color, and material are as expected and it has a thicker material which makes me think the sun protection claim is probably pretty true.All in all, it’s cute (and kid approved) but the sizing a really off.

Overall we’re happy with these product. My daughter is tall and petite. While the long sleeved shirt and bottoms fit (though a little loose), the tank is just too big for her, but know she may grow into the top by next year.I would say if your child is very average and not super skinny, likely will fit great but if your child is really petite like mine it may have wiggle room.She loves the patterns and the colors though and know we will still continue to wear it throughout the summer!The price is right and I like that you can mix up the tops.
