These worked great but were a pain to get in. I used them to repair a stripped out hole in my block holding down the heads. I actually busted off one of the pins while trying to twist it in. The tool they provide to push the pins in was useless. I ended up using a tap instead and it worked fine. Once installed I was able to torque my head bolt down to the proper spec. I will use these again if I ever have to do this type or repair.I used them in an aluminum block.
