I haven't had good luck with laserpointers on computer screens at the office; they're either too weak to show up well or too strong to be safe to use on modern monitors, but this was very handy. If I'm heading into certain offices at work where I know I'll be helping someone navigate on a computer, I put this in my shirt pocket (about 6" when contracted) and it quickly and easily stretches to longer than I've needed yet, over 3', so I can easily point on the screen EXACTLY what they need to look at or click on without awkwardly reaching across them and getting too close and touching their monitor screen. Keeps skin oil off their monitors too and it's a more precise point than a finger, and my arm doesn't get in the way so they can see EXACTLY what I'm referring to. I'm using it on non-touch monitors, but I did test the touch end on my home laptop touch screen and it works great. I'm very happy with this, great tool for exactly what I needed.

This feels surprisingly sturdy and robust, both in its base form and extended. It won't wobble or anything, in either state you can be sure it'll be stable and you can point with accuracy. And the stylus tip, compatible with capacitive touchscreens (like smartphones) is a nice touch, for me I use it as a tablet stylus too! Multifunctional, practical, and well-built. 5/5!
