These are reasonably good diffuser boards. They are light and easy to manipulate. The problem is that they are very cheaply made - just a couple of cardboard sheets cut in the center and diffuser paper pasted on. They are not even very well pasted, being creased in several areas. Besides, they do not stand up very easily, because they are not stiff enough to do so.I can use them and have done so. They do their work reasonably well as long as I can find a way to keep them upright enough for long enough to take my photographs. My photographs have turned out well, especially the ones with the two holes in them. I have stuck on some more cardboard on the edges to make them a little more rigid so that they stand up as needed. I do wish they had used thin plastic in place of cardboard but for the moment, these work fine. I am just not sure how long they will last though.

This product out of the box isn't exactly user friendly, to get creative with it you really need other tools to hold it in place because of the weak construction. It doesn't stand on it's own very well, and opening it up at certain angles may cause it to fall over. There are two included screens, one is a regular diffuser and the other has a couple of slats in it to use as a shadow board. The diffuser works well on cutting down harsh lighting, and the shadow board is able to create cool effects once it's securely in place and lit properly.Overall I think it's an ok set that does provide the desired effects, but it definitely doesn't work well by itself.

Yes, these panels are just made of cardboard and translucent paper, but I've made my own softbox from an old cardboard box and butcher paper and that takes time. For $10 per panel, it's not an unreasonable cost for what you get, especially if you're not the DIY type and just want to start experimenting and shooting right away. If you are the DIY type, feel free to skip this and just reverse engineer a set of your own panels.

I am a mid-level hobbyist photographer and for the past several months have been taking product photos for my wife and her jewelry design instructor. To that end I have been adding equipment as I learn how to take these photos, so from that viewpoint, these 2PCS Photo Light Flash Foldable Diffusers are great. I've had issues with glare and not being able to control keeping the lights off the reflective elements, but with this 2PCS Photo Light Flash Foldable Diffuser set I am pleased to see how good they look (see photos). I try to demonstrate in the photos the various levels of light coming through - or more to the point - blocked from coming through and while I did read some reviews saying this difference is minimal, and perhaps it is, for my needs it's turning out to be perfect. I needed that glare cut and it's working. I also try to show various levels of light based on location under or the two different types of diffuser (with & without the window streak holes), but with minimal set up I am pleased how well it allows light through, but again, blocks the glare. I look forward to having my normal lighting to see how well that does. The 2PCS Photo Light Flash Foldable Diffusers are made of what I believe is velum and cardboard. They are glued together and who knows how long they'll last - I tend to take care of my equipment so hoping they last a decent amount of time, but for now, however long they last, I am so far very pleased with them.

These light diffusers are really poorly made. The frame is just cardboard with diffuser paper taped to it with double-sided tape, which looks dirty in a lot of places. One of the diffuser sheets isn’t taped down evenly and the edges are lifting or wrinkly. They also don’t stand up on their own vertically unless standing really high up, which limits the room you have to work with your camera. I only give it 2 stars because it does sort of produce the desired light effect (I’m including a couple of sample photos, done quickly with a cell phone flashlight setup). I could’ve made this myself and it would still have been better quality than what I got. For this price I would’ve expected a plastic frame with the diffuser sheets properly embedded in between. Not worth the money!!

I often need bright light to show tiny details when shooting macro photos, and a diffuser helps to prevent glare and shadows. This diffuser does the job when properly propped up. But the product is very poorly made. The plastic diffusion sheets are glued and taped to a cardboard frame, with some edges not entirely adhered. On the plus side, the folding sheets are thin and light for easy transport. But without some kind of sturdy case, they'll get beat up pretty easily. I do not recommend this product for anything but temporary use.

These are total junk, don't waste your money on it.Entire structure is cardboard/paper. The diffuser sheet is just glued on top of cardboard frame. It look like a kinder garden project. Right out of box it has the glue coming off many places. You can get a better result by just buying a simple plastic A3 size folder in white or diffused translucent. For couple of bucks you will have better results. At this price it should have been a nice plastic frame with properly attached diffuser sheet. I don't recommend this.
