This is a nice set to making charm bracelets or necklaces. The letters themselves are pretty large and standout as a focal center for designs. It's too bad you only get one of each letter, but it's fine if you're just using initials, and for the size of them, it does seem better suited for initials rather than full names. It does appear to be genuine gold filling -- the color and luster seems right compared to other gold plated jewelry my daughter has. She is happy with these charms.
