At first glance, I assumed this was just a yoga ball wrapped in fabric—but I was totally wrong. It’s designed specifically for tough play, and you can tell right away. Setting it up took a little fiddling—I had to partially inflate the ball first to line up the valve with the sleeve opening. Once I figured that out, it was smooth sailing. I zipped it up and finished inflating, and it’s held its shape perfectly ever since.The ball has some weight to it, which makes it a bit clumsy to move around by hand, but that hasn’t stopped my dogs one bit. I’ve got an Australian Cattle Dog and a Husky mix, and they’re obsessed. The Husky especially can’t get enough—he spends ages nosing it around the yard and tries to figure out the zipper. Thankfully, the metal zippersetup keeps everything secure. He hasn’t managed to break in yet, and trust me, he’s tried.This cover is tough. Like, seriously heavy-duty. It reminds me of canvas work jackets—super rugged, and made to last. The cool part? The dogs entertain themselves with it. My Husky figured out how to push it along the edge of the fence for ages. He’ll bump it with his nose, chase it uphill, swat at it with his paws—you name it. My female has this hilarious move where she uses her backside to stop it like a brake. It’s honestly just as fun to watch them as it is for them to play.And since sealing it up, I haven’t had to reopen it once. No refilling, no repairs—just throw it out there and let the dogs go wild. Highly recommend if your dogs are high-energy and love interactive play. It’s a great way to keep them mentally and physically engaged without you having to constantly intervene.

My dog goes full throttle at this ball—he's absolutely obsessed with it. We’ve had it in use every day, and it’s holding up really well. Super durable and clearly made to last.

This ball has completely changed the game for our dog. We’ve got a decent-sized backyard, and our rescue pup from Puerto Rico is super high-energy and always looking for a job. Before, he’d get restless and start chewing or digging out of boredom. But ever since we introduced this herding ball, he’s been so much more engaged. He treats it like a mission—chasing, circling, even trying to trap it like it’s a sheep. It’s amazing to watch. The build quality is solid, and it’s held up great outdoors. Definitely one of the best purchases we’ve made for his mental and physical exercise.
