Worked great as soon as I got it in my attic. If you have aluminum siding cannot work inside. Used my existing cables routed around my house to make it work and it did.

As someone who recently decided to cut the cord and ditch expensive cable subscriptions, finding a reliable TV antenna was paramount. I've tried a few in the past with mixed results, but this tv antenna for smart tv has blown me away and exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I unboxed it, the setup was incredibly simple. The magnetic base is genius โ I literally just attached it to the back of my tv stand, and it was secure. No drilling, no complicated mounting, just plug and play. This alone saved me so much time and frustration compared to other antennas I've dealt with. The performance is where this antenna truly shines. The claim of "Indoor Long Range HDTV Antenna with 360ยฐ Reception" is not an exaggeration. I live in a somewhat challenging area for signal reception, but this antenna pulled in a surprising number of channels, and the picture quality is stunning. I'm getting crystal clear 4K and 1080p broadcasts, and the signal is incredibly stable, except in stormy weather, of course. I've picked up all my favorite free local channels (UHF, VHF) without any pixelation or dropouts. During stormy weather, the dropouts happened some, but not much.

I have a Samsung TV, which has it's own built in TV channels, but that doesn't get me my local channels. With this antenna, I can finally let my dad watch football while I'm making Thanksgiving dinner, without stressing to find someone's credentials for streaming (or arguing with him to get him connected via screen cast).My 11 year old, who has never watched local channels because we've streamed pretty much his whole life, is learning a whole new world of TV access where Mom isn't yelling at him "Are you watching YouTube again?" because he found some channel that is all about video games..... Oh joy. Oh bliss. "But Mom, I'm not on YouTube again!" He found the loophole. Can't tell if it's from the antenna or from the Samsung TV, but he's living his best 11 year old life.
