Pretty nice accessory made getting consistent cuts much easier for me. For an industrial type tool it is a tad light duty for jobber type it is good to go.The included pen is interesting and works well on the surfaces I tried it on. Overall all i consider it a great value for money.

I really wanted to like this marking gauge. It has many nice features but has many manufacturing and accuracy issues.First, there is a large burr in every one of the arc sections. I marked the pictures for both left and right arcs. They run somewhere the middle of the arc sections. I was able to file them away with a small flat diamond file but most people will not have such a file. The marking pen/pencil gets stuck on the burrs, in some cases they are large and stick out quite a bit. After filing, I was able to run my pen/pencil to mark. The next problem is squareness. This tool is NOT square at all, ie, the two flat faces are not perpendicular to one another. The main and deal breaker issue is accuracy. The arcs are marked to be 20 mm to 65 mm radii, in 5 mm increments. They are actually 24 mm for the 20 mm case and 66 mm for the 65 mm case and everything in between is wrong in some other amount. The gaps between each arc is anywhere between about 4 mm and 5 mm or so.The 45 degree lines are relatively accurate. The straight slots on the adjoining face do not line up with the arcs. This would have been so much more useful if the straight slots lined up with the curved ones.Even at this price, one would expect at least a bit of an accuracy. As it is, I can't use this for any layout for my projects but when I need to draw gentle arcs, I can use these since I won't be expecting any accuracy from such markings.
