It doesn't seem to have a 11800 mah battery - I hope my phone can last much longer than when I first bought it, but that's not the case. This description is misleading.

It was installed according to the installation video, but it was particularly difficult for novice buyers to install. After the installation was completed and the battery was discharged in a cycle, the battery level of the phone was not optimistic either, which wasted my money

These tools were all made cheaply. They broke the screws of the phone. Somehow, this tool disrupted the connection of the home key.

[Dec 29, 2024 - Update 2] I've lowered the rating to 4 stars. The batter last the entire day but the reason why i've lowered the rating is because it takes longer to charge to 100% than my daughter's iphone XS Max. Her battery life is one day also, but her battery charges much consistently and faster.[Dec 1, 2024 - Update] I thought I’d update the battery life information. After replacing the battery, it took a little longer to charge initially, and the life of the first charge was just okay. However, after several days of use, I noticed the battery life improved and drained more slowly. I’m really happy with both the product and the replacement. I suspect most people consider purchasing a new phone mainly because of battery issues, but with this product, I can see myself keeping my phone for another 3 years or more. For some background, I work in the tech industry (software), and I thought I’d give replacing the battery myself a try. If you’re curious, I checked with a kiosk stand, and they charge around $75. However, based on past experience, they usually suggest additional repairs, and I end up paying about 50% more. I also asked Apple, and they quoted $80 to $120, so I expected the higher end of that range. Some tips:• I searched on YouTube using the phrase “how to replace iPhone XS Max battery” and found many videos. I watched one the day before, and on the day of the replacement, I followed the same video step by step. It took me about 1.5 hours to replace the battery because I went slowly.• It’s not for the faint of heart—you’ll need to use some force to open the phone screen and remove the battery.• Some videos feature better equipment/tools, but the tools included in the battery replacement kit worked fine for me. I didn’t need to buy any additional tools.• The adhesive tape was tricky to remove, and I had to use some effort to pull the battery out. Don’t worry if you end up bending the old battery. Also, make sure to remove any leftover adhesive before installing the new battery. After replacing the battery, I charged it fully, and the new battery lasted the entire day—from 8 a.m. to past midnight—with 12% remaining. I use my phone regularly, so I’m happy with the improved battery life.
