Fits my mobile Tesla charger, took a bit of umph to plug into socket but the internets say that's normal. Good charge rates of 6.5 kW (30A @ 240V).

This adapter works perfectly with my gen 2 Tesla mobile charger. It is heavy duty for sure and doesn't flop around like some other cheaply made versions. As for charging speeds it delivers the highest charging speed available on the outlet it's being plugged into, depending on the circuit breaker and power going to the line.

The EVCONN 16" NEMA 14-30 Adapter for the Gen 2 Mobile Portable Charger offers a solid build and convenient compatibility with Tesla models 3, S, X, and Y (excluding pre-2018 Model S/X vehicles). One of the key benefits is the longer cable, which wasn’t fully expected based on the product description. While this extra length could be useful for flexibility, it also makes storage in the Gen 2 Charger bag a bit more challenging, as it doesn’t fit as neatly as anticipated.I haven’t had the opportunity to test the adapter yet, as I don’t have access to a 14-30 outlet to plug it into. However, the connector fits the Gen 2 charger well, and everything seems to be in place for a proper connection once I can use it.Overall, while I can’t yet speak to its performance, the adapter looks like a reliable option for those who need to charge using a NEMA 14-30 outlet. It appears well-constructed and is compatible with Tesla's Gen 2 Mobile Charger, but whether it delivers on its promises remains to be seen once I have the right outlet to test it with.

This allowed me to get the full 32 amps out of the Tesla Mobile Charger. It works great and charges me right up with no overheating.
