The three pins of the MTS-102 toggle switch are as follows:
1. Common Pin (COM): this is the center pin and is used to connect common wires in external circuits or parts of circuits that are normally used.
2. A contact (Normally Open Pin, NO): This is the pin located on the side of the toggle switch that is disconnected from the common pin (COM) when the switch is not connected. When the toggle switch is toggled to position A, the A contact is connected to the common pin (COM), forming a path.
3. B Contact (Normally Closed Pin, NC): This is the pin located on the other side of the toggle switch and is connected to the common pin (COM) when the switch is not connected. When the toggle switch is toggled to the B position, the B contact is disconnected from the common pin (COM), cutting off the pathway.
The MTS-102 toggle switch is widely used in electronic circuits, especially in small electronic devices, DIY projects and prototyping. For example, switching different signal sources in a circuit, controlling different function modules or selecting different operating modes. Due to its simplicity and reliability, it is one of the favorite components used by many electronic hobbyists and engineers.

配線接続をする際に端子が半田鏝の熱で固定されているはずなのが樹脂が内部溶融して動いてしまう。じょれでは半田付け後の接触不良が出る可能性あり。やはり作りが悪いとしか言えないので星１つ。

VOXのアンプを加工する為に購入。ハイ側、ロー側の為二つランダムに取り出して付けたら、一つハズレでした。ハンダ付けして音出しで気がつきました。取り付ける前にテスターで確認すべきでした。まぁ値段が値段なんで仕方ないかな？

These are cheap built switches. Be extra careful when soldering wires onto the terminals the plastic casing is easily melted and the pins loosen when heating to solder the wires on the terminals. I have a project that has 40 of these switches, at least half of them malfunctioned and will need to be replaced due to pins being displaced while soldering. If I use these again, i will use a small hemostat to clamp on the pin while soldering.some of the switches have an odd feeling when toggling the bat, sort of like they are binding, others feel normal.anyway, that is my experience with a total of three bags (45) of these.

Firstly Amazon was late in delivering them, 2 days after original delivery date.So I tested one before using, did what it was meant to do, conducted in one position, flipped the toggle and it went open circuit. Soldered it into my project and it's now on in any position of the toggle. Took it out of circuit and tested again, conducts in both toggle positions. Tried another switch and it too did what it was meant to do until it was soldered into position whereupon it became a dead short again! Tried a third one, and ended up with the same result!My conclusion is that these switches are not meant for soldering, they do have terminals that beg to be soldered though! So if you want a switch that you can place into a circuit without soldering then these might well suit you. However for the rest of the population who rely upon soldered joints these should be avoided at all costs, unless you have a prank in mind??

well they are cheap but the first one out of the bag was a dud, plus some feel strange when they switch, check BEFore use!

These are very basic Double Pole, Double Throw (DPDT) switches, in the On/On configuration. There is no “center off” middle position. I have used these switches extensively in the past, and the main problem that happens is that the switch itself gets jammed up inside and won’t flip. So, I tested all of these by switching each one back and forth a few times, and they all work, and snap into place properly with a satisfying click. So, I think the quality here is pretty good. I spot checked a few electrically, and they all worked as anticipated. I think you can buy these with confidence. 5 Stars.
