All went well with one hitch. The old pump was attached to my Yanmar with 5/16th bolts. New pump is threaded for M8 1.25x25 took a trip to Home Depot. New pump seems to be working well.

Got it installed it and it works fine./How ever It appears Amazon is getting involved in Trumps war on Canada.Amazon is closing 7 warehouses in Quebec. AS per The bosses orders. This is an attempt to put a wedge between Quebec and the rest of Canada. SO I will no longer be using Amazon.The Canadian Government is also reviewing its evaluation of Amazon and its practices.

All I can say is that it was a perfect fit for my Yanmar 3GMF motor on my 1984 Hunter 34 sailboat. It's been running well for a month... but, as it's unproven brand, I'll be keeping an eye on the flow and temperatures going forward (as you should be doing anyway). Time will tell.

My original raw water pump pulley failed and destroyed the pump shaft while heading to winter storage. We turned around and made port under sail, and fired up the engine briefly to dock. I needed a new pump immediately, and this one came overnight. I put it on my 1985 Yanmar 3GMF today. We're heading back out in a couple days.A few notes:1. This is the raw water pump for the European origin Yanmar GM series as noted in the product description. My research says that Yanmar shipped engines to Europe for final assembly, and the only real difference between Japanese origin and European origin is the raw water pump. This pump uses a different impeller than the Japanese origin pump, so my spare impellers will not work in it. Otherwise it is the same it appears.2. This has no bracket, and the pulley came installed. To install my existing bracket, the pulley had to be removed. The nut is secured with blue loctite. I used an impact wrench and 13mm socket to break it loose, and then used new blue loctite when re-installing the pulley. That is important! Also the original bracket bolts threaded in fine.3. Another review said the pulley was plastic. Mine came with a metal pulley, thankfully.4. The hose necks are not very long. Only one hose clamp fits, not double clamps.This gets five stars from me for now. It seems like a well cast bronze pump. I don't know that I'll keep it on the engine long term, but if not, it'll stay as a spare.

This was a direct replacement for the Yanmar 3GM in my J35. Casting looks good, and machine work looked nice as well. It bolted straight in with same bolt pattern, and same hose sizes as existing Johnson 10-24509-01 raw water pump.The pulley is plastic, which is a nice touch. Less prone to corrosion, and I am sure it is plenty strong since the only load on this pulley is the water pump.

Great little water pump. Well made using cast brass/bronze so it seems. Everything looks to be quality made. The pulley & bearings are smooth & straight. Shaft is straight. The water pump spins freely. All the threads are threaded correctly & well done. I highly recommend this product.
