This works and fits great on my Kenmore garbage disposal. The old seal was torn and now it looks and functions like new. This is the only style that would fit my sears Kenmore disposal.

Really nice gasket - seems to be OEM quality. Soft silicone type feel - looks to be really good. Drastically nicer than another store brand gasket I had in package - ended up throwing the other one away.

Replacement baffle for Kenmore model 60554. Straight forward, tools needed: Pliers to release dishwasher drain hose clamp and wrenchette or screwdriver to release mount. Steps: clear sink and cabinet space under sink, turn off circuit breaker, disconnect dishwasher hose and discharge tube (keep rag handy for any water spill), rotate lower mounting ring to left while supporting disposer, pry old baffle off with screwdriver, slip new baffle in, reinstall disposer, check for leaks, restore power. Time: under an hour. Wish I had done this years ago.

The splash guard fit perfectly and works well. It quieted the noise from the disposal during operation.

Fits Kenmore 3/4 disposal model number 60554. I have replaced this item before. When new, high flowing water will seem to backup up somewhat until rubber softens from use. You will have to remove disposal from sink and disconnect drain pipe to replace gasket. I lubricated gasket with liquid dish detergent where it mates to disposal and sink. I used black marker to draw lines on white plastic drain pipes marking location for easy reassembly. Take photo before starting helps also. Hardest part is weight of disposal on reassembly. Gasket is 1/16" thicker in height but did not cause me installation issues. This is a good time to clean all drain pipes and disposal to remove odors. I purchased garbage disposal cleaning tablets and found they did not help much prior to takedown. Amazing difference with no more odor. Love this garbage disposal...

My disposer KENMORE 175.605540New gasket has 1/16 inch more height than previous one which would not allow for clamping ring reach its mating part.I had to belt sand/grind the difference off the top side the use a hydraulic car jack (honestly not making this up) to push/hold into place so that I hold get the clamping ring to take hold.be aware new gasket needs seated/stretched onto flanged opening on top disposer.Texture of rubber part is not smooth like previous gasket more like a sand molded part.Drain hole is smaller, water backs up, when water has food grease with it more of it stays in the sink.If real Original Manufacturers Equipment is available some where else I would suggest to purchase.This gasket turned a 1 minute job into a 45 minute ordeal having to modify so that it would work.There are other reviews that state this same occurrence. They are creditable.

It is a very stiff rubber. Hard to push food into the hole at times.
