It takes a very long time for it to heat up and it’s hard to squeeze the trigger to get the glue to come out. I wish there was a control on how much comes out at one time.

Purchased one last Christmas and the battery pack does not last very long at all when working on a big project. I therefore priced another battery pack and quickly saw that I could purchase another glue gun and power pack for less than the individual power packs….so I did….not I have a spare glue gun if my first one ever goes out.

Just got this but absolutely love it so far! Highly recommend if you are like me and just not sure if you can justify buying this because you have a perfectly good corded glue gun, just do it! You will thank yourself later!

This rechargeable hot glue gun has been a great addition to our household. My wife and I originally bought it for crafting projects with our kids, but we quickly recognize that it can be useful for many things around the house. For example we use it to secure some Lego parts for our kids marble run toy that our son keeps taking apart. The cordless design makes it super convenient to use anywhere and the heating element inside works very quickly. It came with a lot of glue sticks included and we uses them right away. It’s a very easy to use tool for adults, but I would still be mindful of letting kids hold it since it does get pretty hot. So whether we are doing crafts or quick fixes around the house, we love this glue gun and find it to be great value for the price and quality of the product. The included glue sticks refills is also a huge plus!

I really like the fact that this glue gun is cordless. It makes crafting and using this glue gun so much easier. It's come in very handy fixing things on the spot as I can take it anywhere. It's rechargeable battery holds charge and lasts ample time. The kit includes glue sticks which made this so much more worth the buy. My other favorite part ia that it came in pink! If you're crafty or use a hot glue gun as much as I do, I highly recommend.

The very first glue gun that I’ve used like this and I’m completely impressed! Takes a little time to warm up I’d say maybe five or six minutes but after that, you’re good to go! It’s lightweight not at all awkward like I thought it would be and dripping I love it!Not crazy about the color as I’m not a pink girl, but hey it works and it works great for passing my expectations. I’ve always had like the cheap little glue guns they always drip and leak all over the place making such a mess stringy stuff everywhere. This this thing is amazing. I’m completely impressed.

I recently purchased the Cordless Hot Glue Gun for DeWalt 20v batteries and am delighted with it. I love that I can use it with the many DeWalt 20v I have. Using this gun with the batteries, allows me to use a glue gun without worrying about a cord and outlet. I have used the gun on several projects and have not run into any issues. It heats quickly and gives me excellent control over the flow of the glue. The only thing to make it better would be a case to store the gun.In summary, the Cordless Hot Glue Gun Kit for DeWalt 18V/20V Battery is a fantastic addition to any crafting or DIY enthusiast's toolbox. Its cordless design, reliable performance, and safety features make it a standout product. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a versatile and high-quality hot glue gun for various arts and home projects.

I love the idea of this tool; the build quality and operation over the last month have been excellent. I found one major flaw. After using batteries on this tool, they died. Using this tool on three batteries killed two of them. One battery was from 2017, the other from 2011. In three cases, I used the tool on different batteries; on the two, where the battery drained and the tool shut off, the batteries would not recharge. When you put them on the charger nothing happens. No short flash indicates the battery is syncing with charging or slow blinking; the charger does not recognize that a battery is inserted. The third battery I took out and recharged still works fine, so as long as you have an indicating battery and check it while using the tool, all works well.I tried "Jumping them to revive them," but that did not work; after opening the batteries, I was able to confirm that three of the five cells read 0V, indicating that the high-pressure protection on each of those three cells had tripped because they were discharged too much and built up to much internal pressure from off-gassing because of the deep state of discharge. This tool will keep running until the battery kills itself. The quote in the description, "Do not worry about this killing your battery," is inaccurate, it does not have properly working low voltage protection compatible with DeWalt 20V Max batteries.I used a screwdriver to release the pressure on the cells, and they reset. I will dispose of them because using them after bypassing the safety protection is dangerous; they are built into the cells to prevent fires. So, I love the concept, but this $30 tool has killed at least $60 worth of batteries.
