Although the description repeatedly switches back and forth saying this holder is for taper candles or tealights, it is absolutely for taper candles - NOT tealights. The base will not fit a tealight.Because 2qt glass canning jars come in many shape variations the candle holder may need to be reshaped slightly to allow the candle to sit straight and close to the center of the jar.This is a lovely, old fashioned way to have a gentle candlelit space with no wind problems. This would look especially nice on evening outdoor tables. I found these work best with short taper candles or the utility, emergency candles that are only about 5" tall.The flat black painted steel holder goes with most decor and adds a simple elegance to the room. Two candle holders per box. Glass jars not included.
