Purpose for Product: Haven't used a lot of rivet nuts until recently for a new project and am now finding moreuses for them. I have actually been using a homemade installation tool. This rivet nut tool kitwill allow quicker installs-I hope.Product Inspection: Plastic storage box containing approximately 500 rivet nuts as described in the advertising.A cone drill bit is included. The Tnisesm installation tool appears professionally manufactured. The instruction sheet is very vague finding it almost useless. The mandrels appear well made and drenched with oil.Product Performance: Drilled holes with the included cone drill bit for all eight sizes of rivet nuts in a metalsupport bar. The drill bit struggled a little to penetrate the metal. Once penetrationwas achieved the bit did much better jumping from size to size. In the future I willuse a better metal bit for a pilot hole them use this cone bit to finish sizing. To be completely transparent: I have NEVER used this type of installation tool and therewas a learning curve concerning the mandrels.HOWEVER: I stumbled when it came to the actual installation of the rivet nut. There is some adjustment needed from size-to-size and a significant amountof arm strength needed for the larger ones.Summary: Practice makes perfect: I was very flustered for about an hour-gradually overcoming what Iperceived as obstacles. The paper included instructions are pretty much wasted paper. I did watchthe vendors video but is doesn't reveal the nuances that arise using this Trisesm installation tool.Be prepared for some level of frustration but most will overcome it.Bottom Line: Once past the initial aggravation things levelled out for me it's all good to go now.Wanted to give a four-star rating but the lack of providing operating technique stuff left a sour taste.
