I didn't see anyone answer this before but I bought this to give it a try because it was half the price of the one without the actuator on it. It fit perfect on my 2012 ram 3500 and it works perfect.The factory one was having issues with the locking mechanism, sometimes it would lock by itself and you couldn't unlock it with the key. This cured the problem and works perfect.
