Wider Hub Spacing
SRAM Boost widens the hub spacing of the front and/or rear wheel compared to traditional mountain bike standards. Specifically, it increases the spacing of the front hub from 100mm to 110mm and the rear hub from 142mm or 148mm to 148mm or 157mm, respectively.
- By widening the hub spacing, SRAM Boost allows for the use of wider hub flange spacing and spoke angles
- This results in a more symmetrical and evenly tensioned wheel build, which enhances overall wheel stiffness and durability
