I have areas on my property where I use pea gravel between paving stones to serve as the grout. Keeping the gravel where I place it can be a challenge, especially when I use a blower to clear away pine needles and other debris. This gravel glue solves that problem. Although the instructions recommend using a sprayer or pouring it on, I put it in a 5 gallon bucket undiluted and applied with a 2" latex paint brush. With this method you need to be sure that the brush is completely saturated and that you get the glue in between the stones. It dries quickly and cures in about 24 hours. I did two coats. Note that it's critical to make sure you don't apply it when rain is in the forecast and that the temperature is above about 65 degrees. It cures fastest in warm, dry weather. When it dries and cures it's invisible.Once cured, the gravel stays in place, even when I use my blower. This package contains 1/2 gallon. Based on my experience, that makes this a good value: Recommended.

You get two 32 oz bottles of rock and mulch glue. It goes on white when applying so you can see where you are putting it. It then dries clear with a slightly shiny finish. I used this on small stone with good results. Even though the stone is on an incline, it is holding together, even after a couple of heavy rain storms. I really like the appearance and keeping the stone from scattering is a great thing.

This mulch and rock glue is a lifesaver! It effectively locks down pea gravel, bark, and rubber mulch, preventing washouts and erosion. The transparent formula dries clear, maintaining the aesthetic of my garden. It's easy to apply with a sprayer and provides long-lasting adhesion. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stabilize their landscaping materials!

The directions were not very clear. It says to use a 10:1 ratio; however, my boyfriend who is the one that ultimately mixed the glue and used it did not know if it was 10 parts glue to 1 part water, or vice versa. He mixed it 10 parts glue to one part water, but said he's not sure if that was correct and if it was the other way he could have covered more area. He said that the glue was a more glue consistency the way he did it so he assumed it was correct. Not everyone is tech savvy or able to access the internet, especially if you're buying this for an elderly member, they may not know how to find the information on Amazon like others may be able to.It was a half gallon in size, using the ratio 10 parts glue to 1 part water, he said that he was able to cover all of our mulched garden beds outside. I can't really begin to tell you a size; however, we have a large area landscaped outback with mulch that is pretty much the whole length of our property, plus 3 smaller areas. The glue was just enough to cover all areas which honestly, is pretty big. I thought for the costs and how much it covered, it was worth the cost.We put this on our garden beds 2 days ago. It was super hot out the last couple of days to the glue dried pretty quickly. I checked a couple different spots throughout all garden beds and it did what it was supposed to. I mean the mulch isn't glued in place to be held forever, but it settled the mulch, made it a little heavier so it doesn't move as easy. We have two large active dogs. The larger of the two has been running around the one garden bed and the mulch still moves. It doesn't hold it in it's exact place forever. With that said, it doesn't fly up like it used to when she now runs through it.Maybe this would work better on small pebbles/stones?

Requires a lot for gravel on a slope. It does work after applying 4 coatings for bigger size gravel on a slope. It is very expensive for the amount to liquid you get. One bottle did not even glue a big area for me after 4 coating. It was not very easy for it to spray out from a hose spray, needed lots of shaking and patience for an even coating.

First, it's ridiculously expensive for the amount of glue you get. Second, it's not easy to apply on gravel. Because you have to apply it without first diluting it, I struggled to use a pressure sprayer to evenly distribute it. they want you to apply the glue to the gravel in a bucket, mix it, and then place the gravel. That's unrealistic, especially when you are applying a large square footage area. I ended up switching to a different glue that, you can dilute, and apply with the pressure sprayer. By diluting the glue, it allowed me to distribute it evenly throughout. This glue - too thick and you get a stream and not a spray. Not easy apply.

Recently poured cement down the side of our yard but wanted to glue rocks on both sides. We have 4 dogs and they do love to run around so we knew that the rocks should be kicked out from the sides. This glue works pretty well and it's fairly decent on the hold power. However, for the size you're getting, it's a little on the pricey end. But it does work as intended.

It is an expensive produce but I don't need very much of it so it works for me however if I was going to do outdoor areas that were large I would look for something much more cost effective. I have a small bowl fountain that I need to glue my birds back into place as they came off the ceramic and I want to put little white gravel stones around the birds to cover the cracks and seams and this does the trick. I was reading reviews and noted that some customers used them on stones to make them shiney and I have some beautiful rocks that have been in my fountains and the shine has worn away and so I might try some of this glue as the rocks are beautiful and with the 'wet' look the glue will give them they will look like new again. I have a faux cactus and the rocks are set in the pot so I am thinking that this type of glue is what was used. I'm very happy with it and it should last me for some time...

This mulch glue provides decent adhesion but a little doesn't go a long way with this product. I takes multiple applications to get good enough adhesion. I imagine some of it just gets soaked up in the material. To make it go further I used it strategically by really only bonding the mulch along the borders where they tend to overflow and escape. Also works for small stones as I used it to hold some small river rock between stonework. The product mentions that it may need to be reapplied yearly so I won't know until next season just how much of the adhesion will remain.

Using this mulch glue was pretty straightforward—the instructions are simple and easy to follow, so getting it applied correctly wasn’t an issue. In terms of performance, it does the job well as long as you apply it properly. It holds down mulch, gravel, and other loose landscaping materials effectively, and it dries fairly quickly, which is convenient when you're working on outdoor projects and want to get things done in a day. That said, the biggest downside is the price. At $47 for just a quarter of a gallon, it feels pretty steep—especially when you compare it to what big box stores are offering. You can get a full gallon of similar product for around $66 elsewhere, so the value here doesn’t quite match up. Unless you specifically need a smaller quantity, it might make more sense to go with a larger size for better cost efficiency.

This mulch glue works really well but it takes a fair amount of product for the full effect of "glue", as such it can get quite pricey. This product is ideally suited for smaller and localized areas.I use this to help secure the smaller river rocks that I have between my patio stones. As well as, on the black mulch in the gardens that flanks our walkway.Application is straightforward, I dilute the product and use a garden sprayer for quick, easy application that is eveningly distributed. I found that I needed more than 1 application in order to get any adhesion This may be due to the fact that the materials that I'm applying it to are porous and didn't have a previous treatment. I really like the wet look that it gave my river stone it brought out the colors, similar to after a rainfall.I really love this product but it isn't really cost effective to use on my larger mulch covered garden beds. What I may do is just treat the perimeter of the garden beds and hope that it is sufficient to help keep the mulch from shifting onto my grass. The FUCHOI mulch glue is a very good product but is expensive for larger areas or if you want it to completely secure mulch/rocks. It's a good value for smaller and localized applications.
